Lakeshore Hotel

Great service and good room condition

no parking space. advised as 5 star resort hotel, but near by lake was just a pool of moody water. Food was just ok. Local crab turned out to be frozen crab. Shrimps were not deveined. Beef were just ok. Disappointing overall. Not a place where I would drive 2 hours to have a weekend night with family.

This hotel doesn’t deserve even one star. For the price I paid and the claim of being a "4-star resort," the experience was extremely disappointing with dirty facilities, poor service, and subpar food. From the moment we arrived, it was clear the hotel is not maintained to acceptable standards. The basement level has an overpowering smell of mold as soon as amenities section doors open. The children's play area is literally falling apart with tape holding things together in many places, large holes in the netting, and it absolutely covered in dust. It felt like a health hazard, not a family-friendly space. The pool area was equally unhygienic. Mold covered the poolside seating, the potted plants, and even the stairs leading to the children’s section. It's unacceptable for a hotel that markets itself as a high-end family resort. In terms of the cleanliness of the building we were staying in, the staircases were filthy. They were covered in dust, hair, and even dead bugs. The windows were so stained with dirt that you could barely see through them, and the ledges were full of dead leaves and black spots. Walking on the carpet on the second floor kicked up clouds of dust. Even the outdoor gardens were neglected: unweeded, full of dead leaves, and scattered with fallen branches. Our room was passable. The mattress seemed fairly new and comfortable, but the air was musty, and the bathroom had visible mold and grime. Worse, the room was not soundproof at all.

Kids playing area is unique and awesome! Very creative idea

This was our second time back, and the entire family had a blast! The only disappointment was breakfast, as Monet’s restaurant was under renovation.

Good service

Dated hotel. All three of our rooms had strong old cigarette smell.

Clean but very remote and the staff barely speaks English. You need google translate to talk with the concierge.

I stayed here for a week on a business trip. A fantastic time! I never left the hotel except to go the office. Very nice gym and sauna. Breakfast every morning was very good if sometimes busy. I will stay here on the next trip for sure.

The pool area

A great hotel with spacious swimming pool/spa areas and playground for kids. It's a nice hotel for recreation making people relax.

Lovely retreat away from busy cities. Love the huge indoor kids playground which kept the little ones entertained for hours each day. The buffet breakfast is awesome with lots of local delights.

This is a pleasant place in a suburban area of Hsinchu, Taiwan. I like the surroundings. The lake and the trails are wonderful.

Amazing place to take the family especially with little kids

Amazon stay where kids get to have fun for free at the kids zone. Kids zone had play area, little go cart area, swim area. The buffet breakfast was also awesome! The rooms were clean and big.

Food was OK (free breakfast buffet and self-paid dinner buffet), not too many options. Great amenities, especially the play area for children.

Additional popcorn

This resort of fit for families. If you have little ones, they will love it. We only got to stay one night, and with our adults sons, they enjoyed the campus.
