Shangri La Far Eastern Taipei

Very comfortable room and spacious but not over the top. Wifi was good throughout the hotel property. The views from the Marco Polo on the 38th floor are spectacular. Fresh fruit in the room daily.

My recent stay at Shangri-La Far Eastern, Taipei was an excellent overall experience. The front desk staff were highly professional, courteous, and efficient, making the check-in process smooth and welcoming. The hotel itself feels grand and luxurious, with refined design and attention to detail that reflect true international five-star standards. The room was particularly impressive—spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. One of the highlights was the panoramic view of Taipei 101, which was absolutely stunning both during the day and at night, adding a memorable touch to the stay. The only minor drawback was the breakfast restaurant, where the layout and flow felt somewhat disorganized during peak hours, slightly affecting the dining experience. However, this small issue did not take away from the overall quality of the stay. I would still highly recommend this hotel to anyone who values excellent service and a luxurious environment. It is definitely a place I would return to.

The property maintained a classy look and is very comfortable. The pool located on the rooftop is magnificent and offers a great view of the Taipei 101 tower. One thing of note is they have stopped providing disposable goods such as cotton rounds/toothbrushes/cotton swabs so plan to bring your own.
