Ximen Citizen Hotel

Overall, this hotel wasn’t bad. The staff were very friendly. I did feel that they needed more seating in the lobby, as I was forced to practically stand around waiting for check in time.

Windowless room (our choice), but not a problem. Good size room, nice bathroom & shower, comfortable beds. Helpful, friendly staff. Great area!

Close to food

This was a really good value for the cost. The only thing that I think they need to do is put some seating in the lobby. It is a little uncomfortable when you arrive an hour or two before check in to just have to stand around

Not good for some one…

House keepers often clean rooms in much early-ish morning. And the elevator makes noise impact on clients sleeping.

Check-in, Check-out The check-in and check-out process was smooth and english friendly. Area and Transportation The hotel is within a 10 minute walk to the Ximen shopping area, Ximen train station, and some convenience stores. At night, the area is relatively quiet and I had no issues with noise while trying to sleep. Amenities The hotel states that they do not provide any health amenities (shaving cream, razors, etc.) so you must provide your own. This includes hand soap, however, they do provide a dispenser for body soap and shampoo in the shower. However, when leaving the hotel, I noticed that the cleaning staff's cart contained disposable razors, so I'm not sure why they were not distributing them. Room and Bed The room is relatively small so those with large suitcases beware. There's not much room to place luggage and there isn't a suitable table for work on the computer if you intended to do any. The bed was very comfortable and had good blankets. The room contains a thermostat that states you can do both heat and AC, however, I did not find the option for heat to work.

its right at the entrance of the famous ximending area, so its not too noisy but youre at 2 minutes walking distance from the action. Staff were great, not talktive but we were able to store our luggages in the morning and check in later.

Among many things, this property's location makes it a gem. It is about a 5-minute walk (or so) to the Ximending Night Market and to the Ximen Station. And their staff is very responsive when communicating via the Expedia app. Will stay here again given the opportunity!

工作人員非常友善，需要的東西也是非常快就送到房間！房間不算非常新但是空間不算太小，放了三個大行李還是可以走動。廁所的缺點就是馬桶會擋住門，廁所門沒辦法全開，然後衛生紙在身後，每次拿衛生紙的時候我的腰都感覺要斷了。雖然是無菸飯店，但是走廊上還是固定有煙的味道，我建議走廊上可以放些芳香劑或除臭劑之類的。地點還是非常滿意的，對面就是7-11，幾間餐廳，還有一間自助洗衣店，洗衣店很重要因為酒店裡面沒有洗衣機可以使用，希望以後能安裝個洗/烘機。

Busy city center

Terrible place. I had to check out 2 days earlier and find myself another hotel. The room had bad smell, the ceiling very short. This hotel is suitable for short time staying of a couple of hours.

This is the 2nd time im staying here within 2 months time of coming taiwan. Hotel staff are awesome and super friendly. Amenities are well done for most of the basic toiletries. Very clean room and toilets. I will be back again for sure.

Everything is awesome for this hotel. Although there isnt any view for my room and the air con is quite noisy, the staff are superb and location is awesome. There are bus stops around that connect you to various locations, and the MRT station is a quick walk away. The riverside park nearby is also wonderful for running and cycling. I love the coffee machine, by the way :)
