Having stayed here numerous times, my most recent visit reminded me again why I hold this property in such high regard: consistency, peace, immaculate upkeep, and truly heartfelt hospitality. There are no highs and lows here — every aspect of the stay feels steady, polished, and sincere. The location is excellent, yet the hotel itself feels like a spacious, peaceful retreat within the city. The grounds and rooms are beautifully maintained, and the large pool has a quiet, almost cinematic quality — like something out of an old Hollywood movie set, calm and refined. Breakfast each morning is thoughtfully arranged, with something for every preference, and the entire experience feels relaxed rather than rushed. Most of all, the staff are cheerful, warm, and genuinely gracious. You can sense that they take pride in being part of COMO. For me, COMO Metropolitan Bangkok is not just a hotel stay; it is a dependable return to calm, comfort, and top-level hospitality.

I have just checked out of COMO Metropolitan Bangkok after my fourth visit over the past two months, and I truly consider it my heartfelt base whenever I return to Bangkok. The high standards remain consistently the same, as I’ve shared in previous reviews. The incredible hospitality continues to be one of COMO’s strongest and most heartfelt qualities, and it is felt throughout the entire property. From the spa facilities and attentive pool attendants, to the spotless rooms, to the soothing interior design of the lobby—where the concierge, bellmen, and the amazing, kind staff behind the counters are always so gracious—the atmosphere seems to draw you in, whether you are arriving after traveling from somewhere else or simply returning from an outing in Bangkok. A special mention also goes to the wonderful breakfast crew, who make each morning feel warm and welcoming, along with a truly “made in heaven” breakfast spread that is beautifully presented and deeply enjoyed. There is a calm, refined comfort here that makes each stay feel familiar, elegant, and deeply appreciated. I truly look forward to my next visit in just one week, before returning home to lovely Santa Barbara.

I have had the great pleasure of staying at COMO Metropolitan Bangkok since 2006, shortly after the hotel first opened, and I have been returning ever since. There are many reasons this property continues to stand out for me, and every time I try to put them into a review, I find myself running out of space — which says a lot. What has always impressed me most is the consistency. Year after year, visit after visit, COMO Metropolitan Bangkok has never disappointed. The hotel continues to deliver on every level: thoughtful management, excellent value, beautiful contemporary design, seamless check-in and check-out, and a genuine sense of pride in the upkeep and presentation of the property. Even after its most recent remodel, the hotel has retained what has always made it special: clean architectural lines, understated elegance, and a calm, refined atmosphere in the heart of Bangkok. COMO has always understood contemporary design, but design alone is not what makes a hotel memorable. It is the people. The management team deserves tremendous credit for continuing to hire and retain such devoted, cheerful, and highly professional staff. It’s always a pleasure being a guest at The Como! Consistency is their for-most standard, from your initial greeting from the bellmen, to the front desk staff - and the journey continues enjoying a spotless facility from the rooms, spa & pool services to an amazing & thoughtful breakfast spread, not to mention their Michelin rated restaurant. Excellent staff from all receptionist to everyone from the concierge . Everyone is so attentive and helpful and friendly. Always come back and stay in this hotel with 6 stars service. Highly recommended for people who would like to have a some quietness but still not far from city .

Always stay here Always will

This might be my favourite hotel in the world and I’ve stayed in hundreds. Probably more than a thousand. Brilliant staff, excellent facilities, comfortable pillows (often a neglected item), lovely 25m pool, good breakfast. A great place to stay in Bangkok. I love it. Good value too for the level of luxury.

Stylish lobby, cozy and spatious room, abundant amenities and courteous staff. The sauna room and jacuzzi were the best.

Everything was perfect. The staff were so helpful and good location to get around the city.

Clean room | Staff | Breakfast | Spa - in each of these categories, the staff consistently offers the best in all areas of hospitality. Presentation for each of these areas is amazing.

Lovely hotel and experience

Room is newly renovated. Breakfast space felt nicer. Great service and amenities.

This has been a go to hotel for me in Bangkok, the staff are great the area is also great, it needed some maintenance but unfortunately the refurbishment by Paola Novane has not hit the mark. The reason for our stays is it felt authentic Thai now it feels like a new looking hotel. Unfortunately we will look for another authentic thai hotel to stay in the future.

Despite renovations the quality of the stay and the new rooms are great. The restaurant nahm is great, as is the room service food. But best of all is the staff. At all levels they try to make you as welcome as possible.

Firstly, I have been a longtime fan of the Como Metro and have continued to return again and again. This was my 5th visit this year, having just checked out this morning. They are currently completing a renovation that had little impact at all on my visit. My room like so many others was full completed offering up an entire new look. How would one describe the new Metro look. Fresh, a lighter feel to each room with fresh white metro-white colors, decorated with new refreshing contemporary furnishing. What’s also amazing, they have maintained the Metro vibe, easy, simple and keeping their signature “fragrance” if you’ve been a guest before “you know.” Super worthy of mentioning. The staff who does the hiring has an amazing knack for hiring a “Team” of very committed & cheerful employees. Each are a delight to be at your calling for exceptional hospitality. They are always there - to make your visit above the top. I will be returning in 5 days! Thank you staff for making my visit so special! Khun Patrick

Room type with a patio was really nice

Very friendbly, informative, and polite staff members. The proprty is aittle old but nice.

I had an amazing experience. Staff provided personalized service, in an unintrusive way. The environment was serene and calming. I had a relaxing time on the premises. This is my second time to the hotel, and I will definitely be back!
