Novotel Bangkok Sukhumvit 20

Soft, comfy bed; good shower. That all important breakfast buffet was very good & staff friendly.

Once again the hotel went above our expectations. The staff are so kind and helpful. The executive lounge is a must for pre dinner drinks and a nibble before enjoying dinner at Bar 20 rooftop bar. Thankyou Novatel Sukhumvit 20 we will be back again next month David and Sawitree Batt

The hotel was nice and clean with nice facilities like the pool area and sky bar in the 26;th floor. Very nice staff in the hotel. The beds were actually excellent. The location pretty deep into the soi 20 made it a bit tricky to reach by walking. The best transportation is by taxi or mini bus.

Our whole experience at the hotel was 5 star from arrival to departure. The staff was amazing and couldn't do enough for you. The food was great. To the staff in at the rooftop bar thankyou for making our experience there wonderful. We felt very special

I recently stayed at Novotel and, unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. I booked a Deluxe Room with 1 King Bed for 2 adults and 1 child via Hotels.com. The room description stated it sleeps 3, which made me believe the arrangement would be suitable for our group. However, upon check-in, I was told that the room only includes one bed and that our child would have to share it with us. If the child were an infant, that might be understandable—but not in the case of a teenager. When I questioned this, I was informed that if we wanted an extra bed, we would need to pay an additional 1500 baht (around £35). This came as a complete surprise and felt very unreasonable. There was nothing in the booking terms indicating this policy. I was told to contact the booking agent to clarify, so I reached out to Hotels.com, who also couldn’t find any terms supporting this extra charge. At that point, I was quite upset and refused to pay. Eventually, the hotel called our room and offered the extra bed free of charge as a goodwill gesture, and they also provided additional towels and slippers. While I appreciated this resolution, it still left a bad impression—it felt like our child wasn’t properly accounted for in the original booking.On a positive note, the hotel itself is nice and the location is good. However, the experience at check-in really affected our stay. It gave the impression of being pressured into paying extra for something that should have been clear from the start

Natt was excellent all helping us plan our tours. We had a wonderful time with the bartender in the lobby, (she worked night from 01 to 4th April). The breakfast was really good and tasteful. Overall the stay was a fabulous experience

Clean room,great staff good choice of restaurants. I have stayed there many times and will be back in May. Thoroughly recommend this hotel.

room was old and run down city view was inexistent on the first room ( had a view on metal railing) then changed for another view but was not worth it. overall I would avoid this hotel in the future.

Our room was perfect- spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful when booking attractions or experiences for us, everyone was very nice and warm. We spent Christmas there and the lobby was decorated with a Christmas tree among other little details. Breakfast was delicious. The sky bar has a gorgeous view with great cocktails. It felt like we were at a 5 star hotel. We would 100% stay here again!
