Hyatt Palm Springs

Great location, great staff, lobby area and bar/restaurant was nice. Room was very tired. Where two sections of carpet met, the carpet was frayed and gapped. Bathtub was missing enamel in several spots. Chair on deck was coming apart. Couch in living area was wallowed out and sunken. Pool area was large but again the furniture was wore out. Only half the jets in the hot tub were working. Pool itself was nice. Nice hotel - just needs some TLC.

Love my room with mountain view, was breathtakingly beautiful

This hotel is in a great location. The rooms are large and have good amenities. However my room had a lot of maintenance items that needed fixing which I put up with. For the price I paid I expected a little better maintenance. The rooms are also noisy if someone is staying next to you but we were fortunate to not have too many neighbors. Restaurant was good. We didn’t try the pool since it was cold outside but it looked nice.

The property is well kept and clean , but could use some updating. We did t know they even had a pool until we were leaving. The location is good.

I didn’t like the idea that no one or your Website indicated that there was work getting done on the property. There was dust everywhere couldn’t even sit outside on our deck and at the pool because of the noise. We changed rooms only to discover that the room service elevator was next too our Bedroom wall in the new room that they put us in. Was not a good experience

The location of Hyatt Palm Springs was the main reason I booked this hotel. It is conveniently located to all the shops, restaurants, and the museum. It is nice that these were all in short walking distance. The property itself is rather outdated inside the rooms. I noticed the walls also seem thin and could hear alot of noise from the neighboring rooms. It was quite chilly in the evening and our room heater didnt seem to be functioning well either.

The AC in our unit didn’t work and the room was kinda dirty. The couch had stains and the remote on one TV didn’t work. The place needs updating.

There was loud and v dusty construction right outside our mountain view room preventing us from enjoying the room or the view.

This hotel is in an excellent location and is walkable to all things downtown Palm Springs. The rooms are spacious. There needs to be some updates with the plumbing was the main downside.

Liked the size of the room and location. The hotel is run down, bathroom sink faucets leaking on the countertop and the toilet handle needed to be held for 30 seconds to flush. The AC unit is very loud. Front desk staff are poorly trained and indifferent to customer satisfaction. We waited 5 hours for a text to confirm that our room was ready, which never arrived. On checkout the cab they pre booked never arrived and the desk clerk made no effort to help us get to the airport for an international flight.

Our room smelled like cigarettes.

Great modern decor. Well maintained. Big suite rooms.

This hotel is a great location, right in the middle the action in Palm Springs’ downtown area. Unfortunately, it has seen better days as an establishment. Our suite left quite a bit to be desired, including a mattress, warped in the middle, giving you the feeling that you’re slipping into an abyss while you sleep. The bathtub was scratched up, missing enamel and had low pressure. There was a big hairball on our carpet, and a stinky used baby bottle from a previous tenant under our bed. I’m very grateful we didn’t encounter any pests, but I also find that somewhat surprising given the condition of the room. If you decide to park there, be careful where you leave your car. I inadvertently parked underneath a cracked ceiling and came upon my car the next day covered in water, paint chips and a mineralized residue. We ordered 2 room service meals one afternoon but they were never delivered. After going to pick up the order ourselves and returning to our room, we discovered a cheeseburger order was missing bun, the lettuce was also browned in several areas and the burger appeared very unappetizing. At about $22 each, it was upsetting to see that quality of service and cuisine. My son enjoyed the pool and it was nice to have a space where pets are welcome, but we won’t plan to stay here again next year.

I loved the location right downtown Palm Springs. My room was great. Staff was excellent and welcoming. My only suggestion is that Hyatt needs to upgrade or fresnen up the hotel. Still looks like its living in the late 1980's. Give this place a serious redo, bring it up to a 2025 fresh look ...but I had a great stay...would stay there again.

The hotel itself is nice and it's in a great location, but the rooms need updating for the price.

The one bedroom suites are apartment sized; the location is great, and the complementary bikes were such a nice surprise. It’s pretty retro 70s but very well maintained; and the staff & cleaners were very good. Highly recommend!

The customer service was lacking, with the exception of a couple of employees. We stayed in executive suite and the doors were so thin you could hear everything. Coffee pot wasn’t working. The 2nd bed wasn’t made and when I called to have sheets and a blanket sent up it took 4 hrs. Also, never once were the room phones working to connect to front desk or housekeeping. I constantly got a busy signal. I finally had to use my cell to call to the front desk to get someone to answer. We were so disappointed and will never stay here again.
