This is a nice property and one we stay at usually twice a year. This time pigeons -- and, I'm talking dozens, were camped above the entrance and pooping on the entryway below. Also, the breakfast kitchen staff seemed inattentive. A lot of missing items.
The check in was great with a very nice staffer.

Our original room had plumbing issues such as really dark water coming out and the drain was closed and wouldn’t open. In all fairness the front desk clerk was understanding and tried to find us another room. The hotel was full and she had no other comparable room. She upgraded us to another room at no additional cost. I was very impressed with her concern and rapid solution. The other issue was that the breakfast on the first 2 mornings was not very good. Went down 2 hours before it closed and there was no coffee and some of the dishes for food were empty. Maybe I went down right after a rush of people. Breakfast was fine and plentiful on last morning there.

Very personable and likable front desk receptionist. Texas Tech student who gave a warm welcome. Only issues were they provided inadequate amount of towels for our stay AND the room was warm and couldn’t get the temp right. Made for a difficult nights rest.

Only down side was that the swimming pool is only 2ft deep all around . So that was a bummer 4 my wife an I plus major bummer for my teenage boys
