I recently stayed at this hotel and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The location of the hotel is very strategic, easy to reach, lots of restaurants and coffee places around it can be reached on foot, close to the big river that divides Ho Chi Minh City, the cleanliness of the rooms is good and the breakfast is quite varied and delicious.

The hotel is well-located. My room has a partial view of the Saigon River. It's pretty and relaxing. I enjoyed the large number of great restaurants on Ngo Van Nam Street and also Nguyen Sieu Street. The room was clean and room service was excellent. The bedding was great. I slept well. The staff was helpful and welcoming. I enjoyed my 4-night stay in June 2026.

Great hotel in walking distance to the Saigon river. The room was cleaned and comfortable and the provided breakfast was delicious with a great selection of local and international dishes. We only had one disappointment, the towels were old and thin. Otherwise, it was a great stay.

I had one incident where I didn’t like the service of the front desk female staff, but I’m not going to let that one incident affect the rest of the staff there. I was not happy when I stepped out of my uber because I was expecting a lot more upscale place from the pictures, so I was a little disappointed…BUT that was mainly because of the on-going renovation they had. Once I got up to my room, I was pleasantly happy with my decision to stay at The Bay. Room was spacious and had a modern decor. Air Conditioning was freezing which was a blessing with the hot Saigon heat. The staff all of them, from the front desk, to the Chic restaurant staff, to the cleaning crew were ALL very helpful and always smiled and greeted you. Several of them really went out of their way to help me with some things. The cleaning lady greeted me every day and always wanted to make sure if I wanted my room cleaned that day (I typically don’t like Saily cleaning) but she always made sure I had everythjng I needed. The location was very convenient, I walked around quite a bit and taking an uber to the tourist places like Cho Ben Thanh is usually 40k each way so Thats very cheap. I will definitely stay here again the next time in back in Saigon. Room #613 Ohhhh….i accidentally booked one too many days on my stay, and when I booked it I knew it was no -refundable…but their reservation team was more than willing to work with hotels.com to allow me to cancel and get a full refund on Thats extra day! Nice!!!

Lots of options for breakfast, however the quality was good but not as good as some of the other hotels we stayed at in Vietnam. The staff knows English well and are very kind and helpful. The area the hotel is located in is amazing. The views from the rooftop pool and lounge are amazing.

I enjoyed the stay. My only negative is that I only had hot water one night. Maintenance came to my room at my request and fixed it one night, but I had the same problem after that for the coming days regardless of how long the water ran. I assume it was just my room if they could fix it at one point.

Room very clean. Staff very accommodating. Gym was also very clean and equipment looks new. The pool was also clean, though light reflecting off of adjacent building's glass means you'll get that extra sun when swimming so don't forget your sunblock. Bathroom has a bidet.

Great place to stay in the city centre. Close to all the attractions. Room was spacious, clean and well appointed. Rooftop pool was great, as was the restaurant opposite. Breakfast was fresh and enjoyable everyday. Staff were great! Special thank to Mia to assisted me greatly upon arrival (was very ill, and she got me a room quickly!) - Thank you!
