Lovely hotel, although the meal we had in the bar area was poor. Breakfast lovely. Overall a great place to stay

The room was clean and spacious, the amenities were great, housekeeping staff were excellent and only did what we asked if them. Location was perfect for what we needed.

The staff was very welcoming and the room was amazing for a weekend away without the kids. We had the executive suite and on Saturday after enjoying the Spa, We decided to order food in and just chill in our massive room all night

Spa facilities were all disappointing, being in disrepair or of low quality. The jacuzzi was out of service, the steam room did not steam up and the sauna was merely acceptable. However the rooms, the staff/service and the restaurant were all excellent, we had an amazing meal!

Staff were friendly, hotel decor itself is a bit tired but the rooms have been modernised to a degree. Bed was comfy but the aircon was unbelievably loud.

Okay. Reported to reception on check out a few observations. 1. No bathroom sink plug 2. No bath plug 3. Drain by toilet was dirty 4. Room not as quiet as expected due to connecting door. 5. The chair was not comfortable Overall we were disappointed with our experience. The one really good member of staff was the concierge. He was extremely helpful.

I won’t be staying here again. The room was freezing and poorly maintained, the bin wasn’t emptied, the “sea view” was barely a sea view at all, check-in was unhelpful, and the breakfast cutlery was dirty.

Room was nice, especially with black out blinds and quieter than the last stay. Convenient location, good for city centre, west quay and transport.

My stay at the Leonardo Royal although short was excellent. All the staff were friendly and helpful as usual.
