W Hotel Toronto was both a treat to myself and a necessity as I was in town for business. The central location is hard to beat, allowing me either walking distance, or a very short Uber ride to where I needed to go. The rooms are very unique and I love the level of automation on things like the drapes, lights and climate (all touch screen panels, conveniently located throughout the room). The restaurant on the 9th floor is spectacular, both in food quality and service quality. I was amused by the rotating welcome mat that was changed with the time of day. My one suggestion would be to ensure there is vacuuming and floor care happening regularly. I stayed for 2 nights and the cleaning that happened on the room during that time had everything cleaned except all the same threads and small debris that had appeared on the floor remained upon my return. A small, yet easily rectifiable thing. This stay was memorable and I would recommend the property to others.

We chose the W Toronto for our 38th anniversary weekend (May 22–24) and it exceeded all expectations. Check-in was fast and friendly, and we were thrilled with a complimentary upgrade to a higher floor. The room was spacious, spotless, and ultra-modern, featuring an impressive INTEREL touchscreen automation system for the lights, blinds, and climate control that we loved. They even left us sparkling wine and chocolates to celebrate! The hospitality didn't stop there. Our afternoon server, Sachin, who was brand new to the hotel, took amazing care of us. When he found out we were only a short distance away north of the city for our anniversary, he surprised us with prosecco and an anniversary cake with a candle. Don't skip breakfast here, either. The smoothies, mixed berry yogurt, and the shared avocado toast (two pieces of sourdough with poached egg and a delicious balsamic drizzle) were phenomenal. Thank you to the whole team for making our celebration so special!

The staff were super nice and helpful

Very nice hotel overall. Staff was friendly and professional. Room was clean and in good condition. My only gripe was with the suite I booked. I have stayed in a non-suite previously. While the suite was much larger, it felt more like the room was just spaced out more. Being open concept, the bed and seating area were simply pushed farther apart, leaving an empty space the size of a small dance floor in the middle. The TV on the wall sat awkwardly between the bed and the seating, having nothing directly in front of it. While open concept is nice, it felt like a poor use of space and provided little to be desired over the base room.

You can’t beat the location of this hotel. It’s the classic, Yonge meets Bloor. I get to see my family in 20 minutes. Amazing room, it’s quiet and the staff is attentive and went above and beyond. Ask for a kettle, it doesn’t come with one. And the room is pretty high-tech; it took a while to figure out how to turn on the lights. I arrived at the hotel close to midnight, and the hotel informed me that they had sold out the whole hotel including my confirmed room. The assistant manager owned up to the problem and tried to explain diligently to me what they would do to me next. To my absolute surprise, they upgraded me to a beautiful suite the next day I got back. They won me back. They turned a negative NPS into a very positive NPS and I already booked my next stay.

This hotel was great. My room was clean, bright and spacious. They had 2 bars, one with live acoustic music in the evenings. All of the staff were friendly, professional and helpful. We loved all the seating areas in the lobby - made it easy for us to all gather. One night, we even sat and had a few drinks on the couches, which was nice as it allowed us to hang out together and talk. The subway line was located right next to the hotel, which was very convenient. Public transit was clean and easy to use. Location provided a great base for us as we walked around Toronto. I do wish they provided a way to tip the staff via Venmo or a QR code, as I ran out of Canadian currency.

I booked this room for my friends birthday weekend. The room had water, beds were well made, we didn’t use the bar … but there was cute cups and martini glasses. The hotel provided us with a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine hehe my friend loved it. The staff Mahyar and Marco were amazing so sweet nd accommodating. Helped us in every way possible when there was issues and got us bookings to their restaurant Tono for her birthday well. The staff helped me bring my bday girl back to her room after a we had a very fun night out. All I can say is it was worth every dollar !! Every tip !! Everything when it comes to staffs customer service absolutely amazing and as a travel agent myself I would definitely be recommending this location more often when asked haha. The inside decor is mint, didn’t try the room service but even the bar tender on the main floor by the lounge was a vibe and amazing to speak to.

Never going back due to the restaurant staff

I had the best stay at W Toronto this weekend!! Before I arrived at the hotel, concierge had contacted me with a welcome email that outlined everything I needed to know. They also suggested I eat at their new restaurant Tono and made me a dinner reservation. I’m so excited I agreed because it was the perfect restaurant to dine at my first night. Once I arrived, I was immediately greeted with the same hospitality. Mayhor and the entire W Toronto staff made sure my room was clean and esthetically pleasing, I had directions on how to get places, and there were plenty of stores and shops in the area! The hotel location is perfect for walking, Ubers, or taking the Metro or Streetcars. The area was also very safe and welcoming. Thank you so much W Toronto for making my birthday weekend extra special. The small touches really added to the perfect weekend and I can’t wait to come back and stay again!
