The hotel was clean, check-in was quick and easy, and the person at the desk was pleasant.
The room was fine with a couple of exceptions: there was dust on some surfaces; the mattress should be replaced in the near future, as it was a bit saggy; the enamel around the tub drain was cracked and rusty, giving it an unclean appearance (it was clean, despite the appearance). The room is not as sound-proof as one might prefer - I shouldn't have been able to hear conversations in the hallway as clearly as I did, nor the kids running around in the morning, but I've had that experience at higher-end hotels, too. Aside from the small bit of dust, the room was clean, and my stay was comfortable.
Water pressure was great, if that matters to you.
Parking was free and abundant.
Elevator was small and a little slow, but it worked.
I didn't have the breakfast due to a change in my plans, so I can't comment.
There is a good selection of food in the area, as well as a gas station with 24hr convenience store. If you like BBQ, KC's rib shack is a short drive or walk; and if craft beer or cider is your thing, The Packie is right across the street.
All in all, I'm not sure I'd pay "full price" to stay here again, but with various discounts and OneKey cash, I was able to reduce the cost to something more reasonable and would definitely stay again with that price reduction.
