I had an amazing stay at the Fairmont Empress. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the service was excellent throughout. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Victoria and close to everything. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Unexpected pleasure to book in at Gold level. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Victoria at the Fairmont Empress.

Property is stunning 😍 Gym a little snug but great. We w joyed the swimming pool more. Being a Gold member gives you outstanding amenities.

Our stay at the Fairmont was lovely. Zero complaints, only wish we could have stayed a little longer. We’ll be back!

Attentive staff

Was not happy about the amenities not being available when I got there. I travel for work and look forward to going into saunas at the end of the day. Wish staff would have let me know about that prior to my stay.

This was by far the best hotel we've stayed at. This was a surprise for my husband on his birthday, he absolutely loved it. Our room was clean and the staff was courteous and professional, We will definitely go back there again when we're visiting Victoria.

This a beautiful property, we mostly enjoyed our stay. However we were disappointed on our first night as we were assigned a room with a lot of street noise, as a result we got no sleep! Additionally the bathroom was tiny and very outdated, not what you'd expect from a 5 star establishment. I gathered that small bathrooms seem to be an overall theme throughout the hotel. On the second night we changed rooms and had a much better experience (with a slightly bigger bathroom and no street noise).

This hotel is great! The staff were awesome and the location was perfect. A few minor issues with our room. A light was burnt out and the fan in our bathroom was pretty dirty. These are things I think should be easily taken care of especially for a hotel

The hotel was great. The stuff was great. Also the room are clean. The pool was so clean and so nice me and my family. We had a great experience with them and every time when I come to Victoria, I’ll try to book there. I hope just the price be a little down Otherwise everything is great.

We felt like royalty at this hotel! They have everything you need for a comfortable stay and the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The hotel and property are beautiful. Really special place.

The restaurant is currently under renovation, making it difficult to find a temporary dining option, and even then, the available options are unsatisfactory and don't match its high price.
