It was clean good service

My first time staying at Humphry's in Winnipeg. I booked the room with a jacuzzi for a weekend "stay-cation". The room was very dated with many worn spots in the drapery allowing light through. The smell of cigarette smoke wafted through every hour or so - maybe the vents had issues? The jacuzzi seemed cleaned but it was very dated, with poorly patched areas on the walls above and around it - I did not use it at all... the room overall just made me feel gross. The bed was comfortable and the linen appeared clean, however, the cleaning staff came in while I was out for the day and when I got back the bed was made with the exact same linen. I was told they should be washing the linen and putting in fresh linen but I knew this wasn't done because there was a small drop of blood on the sheet - I had cut my ankle while shaving - and it was still there as they had only just tried to wipe it off. I thought this was a higher end hotel but it absolutely is not. It reminded me of an old Motel with a few unkept bells and whistles. I would NOT recommend this hotel.

It was clean. Friendly helpful staff. Breakfast was ok. Gym needs an upgrade.

Nice size hot tub, endless hot water, comfy bed, puffy pillows. Clean,! Only issue they have Roku, and other tv stations not familiar with. Wish they had TSN3 , Sportnet, etc local stuff. Had to watch the Jets on small tv in lobby.... but they were verey accommodating. Good Breakfast too.

The hotel felt quite outdated and could benefit from renovations. The mattress seemed low quality- I could feel the springs, which made it uncomfortable to sleep. There was also a strong odor in both the lobby and my room when I arrived, so I had to air the room out. That said, the hotel was clean overall, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Just had some hair in the jacuzzi tub from previous people. And the mattress was quite hallow in the middle.

Glad they had parking even though had to pay for it. It was closer to where we had to be.

Wondering as always

I’m not sure why this place is so highly rated. It’s incredibly rundown. Our room was actively dirty. The pool has been closed for the last five years and the Gym has one working piece of equipment and it is not the treadmill. The breakfast is super mediocre, but the staff were all friendly so I’ll give them that. Not helpful, but at least friendly while they didn’t solve the problem.

Clean rooms, comfortable and reasonable location to downtown at a decent price

We had to clean the dryer before we could use it. Filter and area around the filter was dirty. The pool and hot tub have been closed for the past couple of years, other than a bike, the gym equipment was not working and everything we put in the fridge froze! Amenities are misleading!

Room was nice , and up to date. Good shower/pressure. Comfortable bed. Nice, helpful staff. Very good place. So many one way streets in that part of town. You might have to go way past going north on Main street. But its worth the time
