A very tired hotel from my room perspective. Probably designed and built during the eighties and had little renovation or decoration since. Breakfast designed around a workmans hours from 06:30 until 09:00 so missed my first breakfast. Pool operated consistently for outdoor clientele parent & baby seems to dominate. Avoid! Extremely overpriced and poor quality throughout, better value for much less available widely. Premier Inn as an example. EV Charging overpriced too for fast-charge, MFG over the road better value. Overall the Hotel has a recurrent theme of poor quality and over valuing there hospitality. Personally I would avoid.

Very basic rooms

Great stay, dated building but they’ve kept it perfectly in shape, it’s spotless tidy and clean great price and has all we needed and more. Very well situated aswell. Overall the dated doesn’t even matter when they do such a good job with the place

The room was clean and pleasant. The staff at reception were exceptionally helpful. The bed was too close to the wall so limited space to climb in and out. The tap was very tight and difficult to pull out the 'knob' to get water out of the shower head. Most annoying was to receive a bill with my title as 'Mr' when I'm female. Why do you need to use titles at all. Just firstname secondname would be fine. Are women not allowed to book hotel rooms?

Stayed here several times now and always nice and friendly staff. Rooms are always cleaned and well presented

After 20-plus years coming to Milton Keynes and using the town as a sort-of "home base" for my broader travels in England, this was my first time staying at Novotel MK. For the most part, I had a very positive stay. The location was just on the edge of town...quieter than my usual MK Central hotel locations, and an easier drive in and out with ample on-site parking. But it was not a short or easy walk to the central shops and restaurants, something I'm used to...especially for stays longer than a night or two. However, the in-hotel restaurant had good food at reasonable rates. It also had a nice bar and lounge are, but drinks were on the more expensive side. The staff throughout the hotel were very nice and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. However, there was one area where the hotel fell short, in my opinion. The room did not have ANY dedicated mobile device USB or USB C charging ports. So, you only had one handy regular electrical outlet at the desk for use to charge your devices. I'm retired but am a writer, so I have my mobile phone, as well as my laptop, a tablet, and a smart watch. This is not uncommon these days, especially for a hotel that caters to a heavy weekday, traveling worker crowd. So, this lack of basic update—which I've thankfully had in all of my other hotel experiences in Milton Keynes, both in the more basic and more luxurious properties—is enough to question whether I'd return for anything more than a one-night stay.

Good size room and friendly staff

Basic hotel. There was a piece of toilet paper on the floor when I came in the room and my corner room had one tiny window and felt like a prison cell.

I stayed in this hotel serval times over the years due to the free car park. The bonus is the sauna & swimming pool.
