Novotel Milton Keynes

Needed an escape from the London heat, and the price was affordable for inclusive breakfast, swimming pool and free parking. On arrival the staff was lackluster, but I guess we were all feeling the heat. I was caught off guard that we had to book a pool session and it only lasted 45 mins. I guess it was a busy time but still found it highly unusual. The room was clean and spacious with all basic amenities. The hotel is less than 5 mins to the main shopping area. Free parking after 6pm for those looking to grab an evening meal away from the hotel. Another 12 mins drive will find you at the MK stadium with more restaurants and shopping. Breakfast was excellent and there was variety. Although the hotel was booked up, there was onsite parking for everyone.

Lovely room, problem with rowdy teens partying in nearby room. Similar issue with rowdy behaviour in the pool, making my wife and I uncomfortable. Other than that, lovely hotel.

Free parking, swimming pool, spacious rooms with the bonus of connecting rooms as my daughter and her family and myself both booked rooms worked out great for us. Breakfast was great, children loved the make your own pancakes in particular! Would 100% visit again. Thankyou for a wonderful stay

Pool use rationed to 30 minutes - understand it is small but then say this before a customer books. Be honest! Bed comfy but not made properly, TV smaller than I expected for room size. Theft proof hairdryer cable too short to reach mirror. Upgrade for Hotels.com Platinum users denied despite space being available (which they can do so no complaints here - just disappointed and advise others to book elsewhere when an auto upgrade typically less of an issue that it clearly was here). Part of bar area closed - no reason. Main menu only available outside property though lots of kids menus available in bar area (odd!).Tried to recruit me to their loyalty scheme. No issues with friendly reception team but advised by Hotels.com that they also had problems reaching the property when they tried to call them up. Absolutely not worth a claimed rack rate of over £185GBP. Sad as Novotel normally OK...but this has put me off their brand. As a Platinum user I expected much more than this. Whilst they were within their rights at all times they just did not go that extra mile. Had they done so I would have spent more and stayed in to eat and drink. Because of this I did not. The manager's decision not to look after a very regular hotel user cost them money. This could easily have been a very positive stay. It wasn't.

Very low toilets,,I wonder how people with disabilities use them and able to stand up!! Terrible,,you would think they designed the loos for little kids!

It was ok . However i was disappointed their swimming pool. Too much chemical in the water and it was too stingy when water splashed into my eyes. Bed sheets had stain marks and asked to change it. I requested for cleaning room next day but did not clean.

We enjoyed our stay here, it’s in a good location, the hotel is clean and well kept but most of all the staff are so friendly and helpful. It’s excellent value too and the breakfast was perfectly decent and kids eat free with a paying adult.

Easy check in, very reasonably priced for the room.

Comfortable beds the staff was super friendly and helpful good value for money. Not far away from the theatre to watch a show and bars and restaurants.

Good facilities, decent swimming pool which requires booking of 30 min slots - pretty busy during holiday period, they restrict to about 10 people. Also sauna was a bonus. Decent breakfast with veg options. Easy parking. Arun at reception was especially helpful.

Room dated and tatty carpet needs replacing paint/dye stains all over and stains on the couch. Shower head leaking when in use. General condition of bar eating area ok Food quality and amount also good Expected better quality of room for price

The room was clean and tidy. The shower was not working at first then I asked Omar for support and he came to the room and pull the nub out. The shower now work.
