Over all not bad. Just not feeling welcoming when you check in with the other booking app, no greeting and smile bad impression! Hope he should get better taking how to be a front staff!! .

Small and staff not friendly. Shower had black dirty water come up from drain.

They need to renovate the hotel and have it modernized a bit.

Randomly picked this hotel based on location as a happy medium between where family lives. Hotel is dated and rooms feel a bit crowded, obviously gonna be noisy, but it's a budget pick downtown so kind of a manage your expectations deal. Beds were surprisingly comfortable and housekeeping was awesome though. Not too many amenities for families (again, expected) but the staff both at the hotel and restaurant were incredibly friendly and helpful. If I were traveling solo looking for an ok price downtown, I'd stay here again. Felt pretty safe all things considered and the location is really good. Close to Stanley park, lots of great food and pubs nearby, Davie is always fun.

This hotel was convenient for English Bay & the bathroom was fine. It was a sports bar, shabby upon arrival at reception & down at heel but at a premium price due to the World Cup. It was overall disappointing but useful to store our luggage on arrival & on departure.

Great location for access to city and nearby beach/Stanley Park.

The attached restaurant has very slow service to the point that we had to flag someone down to bring us water and take our order. And the food was only ok. Our room was fine though the bathroom was small. The type that you have to stand oddly close to the toilet in order to close the door. And the cooling unit was noisy and didn't work particularly well to cool the room down. Also the hotel is on a busy street so you hear the night life until quite late at night.

Great place to stay. Excellent location near English Bay and Stanley park. We got the suite and loved the extra space with children. We rented bikes right across the street and ate at the restaurant. We would stay here again.

It was a great stay for one night to attend the World Cup. The exterior of the building could use an update but the interior of the rooms are renovated tastefully, the bed was extremely comfortable and the room was nice and quiet. We would definitely stay here again.

Parking is bit confusing. We have to park on the ground floor for check in and park on the upper level. Air conditioners in the room are very loud

Good servuce and clean room.

Pros: the location is perfect. Close to the beach and restaurants. Very convenient. Cons: the AC was super cloud which made the first night impossible to sleep well. Talked to the staff and was told to deal with it since the hotel is old. The second night we turned it off before sleeping and luckily it was not too hot. The blinds didn’t do a good job blocking the light. It had to split to allow the window AC to be installed. So expect waking up by bright light 5 AM ish
