Short walk from the main train station. Close to tram stop. Room chosen was perfect for one person.

Our room was very clean and well maintained. Although small - as are most European hotel rooms - the design was very good. We were thankful that the room had a shower stall and not a bathtub since I am mobility challenged. The bathroom was small as well but, again, well designed. Our room also had air conditioning which is often not available in hotels in or near the Old Town area due to covenants.

This hotel comes with pros and cons. Pros - close to the train station and the Landesmuseum,; very clean; friendly staff; comfortable bed; has aircon and a fridge. Cons - very dated decor circa late 1980s/early 1990s; breakfast is in the bakery next door - we didn’t realise this on booking - not a buffet but the food provided was good; our room looked onto a public stairway so was a little noisy and not very private but bearable as we were not staying over a weekend; the curtains were blackout but too short which defeated the purpose; the hairdryer is beyond useless- think hose with narrow blower on the end! Very old fashioned- ours kept coming apart at each use making it difficult to use - this really needs to be replaced for a more reliable modern style. We did report this each day and were told the owner is aware they need to be replaced. Otherwise it is a good value hotel for the centre of Zurich.

The ac was cold enough. The shower was hot enough. The bed was comfortable enough. The toilet was tiny and was not very comfortable to use.

Very cute and simple room! The staff was very helpful when needed and the added on breakfast was great! The location makes traveling very easy and convenient!

Great location minutes from the train station and the Old Town on foot. Helpful service from the front desk. Sadly, we did not get the chance to try their breakfast with the kitchen undergoing work. The place next door they asked us to use instead only rated ok. Otherwise a great place to stay in Zurich at a very decent price.

Old hotel that hasn't been updated. Old furnishings, small room, for ridiculous price. Noisy location next to extremely busy alley, where thousands of students from three nearby universitys use from 7am until late night. Could hear loud talking, laughing, and screaming all the time. Book elsewhere!

Incredibly friendly reception and housekeeping staff, super clean rooms, charming older hotel but so well located and again, hospitality at its best. And lovely bakery just downstairs next to the hotel - morning coffees and Gipfelis guaranteed ;)

This was a great accomodation for a one night stay. It was within easy walking distance of the railway station, the staff very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The room clean and comfortable. Would recommend this property.

Excellent front desk staff - Manfred & Jakub. They were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Room was clean. Liked that we had clean, soft towels. Bedsheets and comforter were also clean and comfy.

The location was an easy walk from the train station. The staff was fantastic! The recommendations for lunch and dinner were perfect.

GREAT hotel! If I ever get back to Zurich I will be staying there again! It had charm, conveniences, was clean, and had everything we needed. What a fun place!

Good location near public transport, easy to find late at night! Nice easy walk along river to the old town. Room was small, clean, decent bed , good quality linens. Electronic check in, and late night automated entry worked well. Staff were helpful and friendly.

The location was very convenient and close to the city and transportation. The room was small but quiet.
