Resort itself was beautiful and well kept. Pool and beach was clean. Plenty of beach chairs for everyone! A ton of space for everyone. It never felt crowded! Buffet food was decent- Captain Morgan at the caribe and Mexican nights were our favourite! Staff were friendly. Rooms were outdated but clean. Our AC and drain were not working properly, staff acted on it fast. Many staff called and checked up on us during our stay. Carlos Lopez- manager at the Caribe was doing a routine round and when we voiced our concerns, he immediately provided us with options. Customer service was outstanding! We initially booked a standard room but got free premium bracelets upgrade with Expedia gold! Well worth it- got to do hydrotherapy circuit everyday! Later in our stay, we did get upgraded to a premium suite to compensate for the problems in our room (the problems were already resolved after maintenance came and looked at it)- premium rooms are very nice, would book a premium suite the next time I return! Well worth it! Be sure to check out the Mexicana Plaza, lots of local vendors with good deals!
