This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. From the initial welcome from the staff all the way through to us checking out, our stay at the Indigo was first-class. Both our room and all the public areas were very well maintained and had an exceptionally high level of cleanliness. The bar / cafe in the foyer was light, bright and comfortable. I cannot praise this hotel and its staff enough. Highly recommended.

Spacious quiet room m, centrally located

Clean, central and a lovely breakfast could fault it.

Perhaps because of its location, the environment is not quiet. It seems there is always a party going on outside. If you are the type who gravitate towards crowd, this can fit you well.

Close to train station. No coffee in room. They charged me a “special rate” of £17 for breakfast on check in, saying it would cost more the next morning. Cost of full English is actually £13 on the menu. Restaurant is okay for drinks. Food appears to be from take out off site.

Great place to stay, great location - walking distance to all amenities. Fantastic breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend.

Room was well equipped, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and the staff were very friendly.

We had a major issue where we were kept up the majority of the night due to excessive noise from another room. I explained to the hotel in the morning and they were aware as had another complaint, but they would not offer me any of my money back because I didn’t call them during the night. I feel this is not fair, as all I wanted to do was try to sleep, so ringing reception was not the first thing on my mind. I would like someone to contact me to discuss. On a seperate note, the hotel is lovely, with good parking & nice finish/decor. The staff I dealt with when checking out dealing with my complaint, let the show down. They lack empathy and really didn’t want to help me.

Lovely stay, perfect location

What a lovely Hotel Central to everything we needed. Very clean and Staff were all Amazing so Friendly & Helpful. A definite Hotel chain I would use again. Having previously stayed this year in the York Hotel Indigo which was also lovely and why I chose to book this one in Newcastle. A bonus being a fridge in your room x

The bathroom was tired. It had a cracked sink, mould in the showers and hair everywhere. It looked like it needed a really good deep clean. The kettle also had another guests left over water in.
