Room was great, staff were very friendly and in a nice location. Loved having the balcony. The old doors have very little sound dampening but didn't affect us. Would definitely stay again.

What a beautiful place! We booked only the same week for a little break and wasn’t disappointed! The welcome was amazing, Cameron was so helpful, showed us to the room, pointed out all the amenities on the way and even brought a bottle of ice cold water with him for us! The room itself was beautifully decorated (we have taken photos as inspiration for home) with an old Victorian vibe still blended in with the quirkiness of modern touch. Bed was so comfortable and spacious! We had a little garden area to ourselves and there was a larger communal garden area with a lit fire out when we got back in the evening. We spent time in the bar on the night and was made to feel very welcome by a lovely staff member - I can’t remember your name I am so sorry! Didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment but the bar and room schools was great! The trip was rounded off by meeting the lovely Teddy on out checkout! We are already looking at return dates.

This is our second stay at Hotel Clementine’s. Staff are so friendly and welcoming, and service is second to none. Great breakfast menu and fantastic lounge/bar of an evening. Would highly recommend.

Ideally situated for town centre, upon arrival got shown all facilities/room, lovely breakfast staff very polite/helpful, room had everything you needed and quiet Cameron went above and beyond when we arrived explained that we had car issues and that we would sort it next day ( he said let him know if anything could do), after contacting RAC next day we had to wait approx 5.5hrs, Cameron told us we could wait in lounge/garden where he kept checking upon us and checking if he could do anything and if we needed anything upon finishing his shift came and said shift finished but explained to other staff what had happened and to continue looking after us for which they did Cameron and rest of staff are an asset to the hotel and we are definitely going back

Everything was great from start to finish. Great walking location to the main strip.

Room was good and for the money, a nice place and good location. Unfortunately the fan was making a rattling noise so we had to turn it off and sleep with the window open which meant we were woken up early by staff being really noisy outside. This noise carried on for a while and then more noise continued when a delivery of some sorts turned up. We were really looking forward a bit of a sleep in on our break away…but instead, woken up at 7am.

Lovely place in York Excellent location just outside the city walls Parking was a bit tippy at £15 and wasn't necessary as parking is available Lovely room with comfy bed and TV Little garden to sit in too

What a little gem Really pleasant friendly staff welcomed us and showed us to our room. The room was a great size and very plush. The decor was stunning. Breakfast was excellent with great choice and quality food. Loved every minute of our stay and plan to return

Had a great stay. Beautifully decorated, and our room was amazing. Very helpful staff and great breakfast. They even had parking, albeit limited, but great for York City.

It was an amazing experience. We stayed in the hotel for three days. Loved the room and hanging out in common areas during the day. Highly recommended.

Beautiful decor, lovely staff and great breakfasts. Teddy the cat is always around to greet you aswell. Ideal for a tour of York city.
