You arrive at what is obviously a very clean and tidy property to the welcome of the very friendly and helpful staff. The room vas very spacious, clean with a good selection of tv channels. The evening meal menu has a good number of varied choices and my meal was faultless. The breakfast was not extraordinary but perfectly adequate and for the cost of the room very good value throughout. I would not hesitate to recommend staying here and I do not normally do so. The next time I need accommodation in the area I know my first choice!

Great stay as always, room clean and breakfast great

A very last minute booking that turned out to be a real gem. Well designed and cosy pub where we were served excellent and reasonably priced food by cheerful and very helpful staff. The rooms are situated a very short walk from the pub and were spacious, clean and very well equipped. Close proximity to major traffic routes was a bonus but that in no way detracted from the quiet and tranquil feel of the hotel. Would highly recommend the White Hart as a stopover or a base to explore the many attractions in the area.

We have stayed here 3 times in the past year while visiting family in Swindon .. it’s such a lovely place the rooms are nice and clean the beds are very comfortable, the pub where you have breakfast is lovely and the breakfast itself is always excellent.. good choice on the menu too .. we will definitely book again in the next few months when visiting again, thanks white hart, such a lovely stay.

Room was spacious with a lovely big comfy bed. No ac but they provided a fan but room 10 was pretty cool as it was shaded. Breakfast had to be pre order but was nice. Good choice. Bathroom was clean with a large shower. Enjoyable stay

In most respects all amenities and staff exceeded expectations however I was there during a heatwave and the small fan did nothing to alleviate the heat the room, so I think a 9/10 is a fair assessment. I will definitely stay there again when in Swindon

Great location friendly staff it was a nice stay my one criticism sort out the Internet!

Room was clean and in good condition, no paint or furniture damage. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was OK but the bacon was overcooked, cold and had been sitting around, uneatable. Everything else was fine.

Always like staying at White Hart although it can be quite pricey. Accommodation great and lovely breakfast. Good location.

Enjoyed my stay. The room was peaceful, clean with a comfortable bed. Recommend the Full English & for evening meal the Burger was perfect.

The White Hart is easy to get to and sits alongside a major road network. Ideal for the overnight traveller. This also means that there is a little overnight noise from traffic. The rooms are very spacious and has a very good en-suite, there is a very decent shower. Large comfortable bed, dressing table and bedside tables, TV and tea/coffee facilities in room. The pub has a good menu for lunch or dinner and the check in was easy and staff were very polite. Just a few signs of wear and tear were visible, but that is being a bit picky. Only missing in the room was an iron and ironing board (which may have been available upon request - we didn't require one so didn't ask). Only criticism was poor lighting for putting on make up either by dressing table or bathroom. We had to pre-ordeer breakfast the night before which for me is not ideal. However, the breakfast was 8/10 and was served hot and no waiting about. Overall a very good stay at a very good price. Would stay again.
