Receptionist needs to be more polite when answering questions from guests.

Check-in took too long. Per person, it was like 15 minutes. I was waiting from 2:30 PM till 3:10 PM. In the end, my room was full and I had to change room types. So annoying and frustrating service.

Located at the heart of the city, very close to the Orchard Road shopping district, and easy access to most shopping areas. I can pretty much walk to anywhere I need to go in Singapore. The room is clean, the staff is friendly, overall a pleasant experience.

We had a wonderful stay at Royal Plaza on Scotts from 9–11 July 2026, staying in Room 1119. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, who kindly helped us with our luggage. The hospitality made us feel at home right away. At the reception, we were pleasantly surprised to be offered an early check-in, which made our children incredibly happy after the journey. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The bathroom was spotless with no unpleasant smell, and we loved the natural sunlight that filled the room during the day. The elevators were fast, so we never had to wait long, and the swimming pool was clean and perfect for our family to enjoy. This was my third time staying at Royal Plaza on Scotts, and I would definitely consider coming back again. One of the main reasons I keep choosing this hotel is the value for money. Hotels around Orchard can get quite expensive, but Royal Plaza on Scotts usually offers competitive rates for the area. The location is also hard to beat. It's within walking distance of Orchard Road, shopping malls, restaurants, and the MRT, so getting around Singapore is very convenient. Another thing I appreciate is the room size. For the price I paid, the room felt spacious, which is becoming quite rare in Singapore these days. The staff were attentive and helpful throughout my stay as well. Cleanliness could be improved slightly. I noticed some minor stains on the faucet in the bathroom, but it wasn't anything major or enough to affect my overall experience.
