We arrived at 3 o'clock and told that check in was not until 4 o'clock. Unless you wanted to pay an extra 25 dollars to check in early. THIS IS RIDICULOUS. THEY HAVE YOU BY THE BALLS BECAUSE THEY KNOW MOST PEOPLE WILL PAY THE EXTRA COST. WE WILL NOT BE BACK TO THIS HOTEL.

Our stay started very well. The rooms were great clean and spacious. The staff super friendly. We decided to use the pool and take our family swimming and that is when our issues started. The tiles on the bottom of the pool were cracked and broken. My son cut his hand very badly. We went to the front desk and the lady working didn't have a clue what to do. I asked for a first aid kit and she just started digging through it and handed my son a bandaid. I asked if there were any antiseptic wipes and she threw them on the counter like she didnt even want to be bothered. The other gentleman that was working the front desk then came over to help. We asked him for steri strips which they did not have. We bandaged up my son's hand and realized that the bandaids wouldn't last long with how bad he was bleeding so I asked the first lady for more and she handed me small ones. I just took them and didn't say anymore as again I just felt like I was bothering her. I went to pack up the other members of our family and while my other son was getting out of the pool he also cut his toe open. We also let the gentleman at the front desk know and said the pool needed to be drained and fixed. It was very disappointing that these hotel staff didnt know what to do for injured guests of the hotel. I was even more disappointed when we checked out the next day and pool had not been closed and more children were swimming in it so again I said something to the desk clerk and she gave me a dirty look.

Excellent location practically in Clifton Hill and still walkable to the falls viewing area and other attractions. The room was spacious but a little outdated. Breakfast in the restaurant on site was delicious.

Very good stay. The pool is a nice amenity and breakfast is available at the cafe. There is underground parking. The hotel is starting to show some wear and tear (eg stained/mouldy shower curtain, missing shelf in bathroom) but is good value for money and the rooms in the tower are massive! Check in support was great. Having to show ID when I was locked out of the room with my family — including 3 kids — was poor service. We had come from the pool and my ID was locked in the room. (But of a Catch 22!) Fortunately my wife had a photo of my drivers license on her phone. I avoided that staff member afterwards. The rest of the staff were fantastic.

Old. Not what you see in pics. Location was the only saving grace.

We had a hard time finding the ice machine. The complimentary items are limited and there’s no clear breakfast menu in the room

Cleaning staff were excellent. Although I had to ask every day for face clothes and extra towels. I was disappointed to hear that we wouldn't be receiving the free breakfast. I purposely chose this hotel for this perk along with the indoor pool.

Dated rooms but beds were good, chairs in room worn out surfaces and up keep on exterior a little lacking on the motel part. Good showers, and location is great.

Title: Great location and friendly staff, but severely lacking in cleanliness and comfort While the staff was friendly and the location near Clifton Hill was ideal, our stay was extremely disappointing overall. Issues Encountered: Front desk: I called twice on Monday morning to speak to the front desk and both times the line was disconnected before speaking to anyone. Cleanliness: The shower had clumped hair on the wall when we checked in. Maintenance cleaned it after we reported it, but they missed long hairs, requiring a second visit. The sofa bed was also dirty. Comfort: Both the main beds and the sofa bed were extremely uncomfortable. The main beds squeaked loudly every time anyone moved. Room Condition & Maintenance: The hotel is in desperate need of cosmetic upgrades. We noticed significant rust, peeling wallpaper, and a non-functioning bathroom fan. Coffee machine at times would only make half a cup of coffee at a time. The pool is small and only 1 meter deep. Elevators: Slow and glitched frequently. Parking: We were charged $22.50/night, even though public parking signs on-site offered rates for $10/day. The great proximity to Clifton Hill doesn't make up for the poor room quality and lack of basic hygiene. There are far better hotels in the same area. I would not stay here again or recommend it to others.

The rooms were run down. Dirty floor and hair in the washroom. The box springs are covered with flat sheets and stapled on. Dirt on them when we arrived. Key cards never worked. Staff was ok but not friendly this time. 5th time here. Won't be back. Spend the extra $40-50 per night at the Sheraton across the street.
