The hotel is nice, close to everything. The staff is friendly, and the food is beyond compare... Hmm, lots of choices and delicious. The facilities are okay. Clean. The only downside in our room was the sink was a bit leaky. We let it slide since we were only staying for one day... Overall, it was good.

Highly recommended if you are in Batam

On June 14, 2026, in room 502, the air conditioning was not cold at all. The technician tried to fix it. Within 5 minutes, the guy said to wait 30 minutes for the air conditioning to get cool. While waiting, I took a shower and realized the soap bottle was empty. So I showered using shampoo from top to bottom since it was wet already. :( My colleague complained to the reception, and finally, we moved to room 402. This room was only slightly colder, as they put the card to let the air conditioning on a few hours earlier. Until the next morning, the coolest degree was only above 24.50 degrees Celsius. For hotel air conditioning, this is considered very bad and not suitable for Swiss-Bel. This is something like a losmen grade.

staff friendly & area good area

At breakfast, it was so crowded that there was a waiting list to be seated. When I went to pick up my food, some items hadn't been restocked, and some bowls were empty. I'd left something at the hotel next door (I'd stayed at the Grand Swiss-Belhotel the night before). I'd sent a WhatsApp message, but no response, even though we're in the same Swiss-Bel group.

The hotel staff is very friendly, the rooms are clean and neatly arranged, the furniture is complete with a work desk making it feel comfortable to work in the office, access to entertainment and food places is very close, just walk 5-15 minutes and you get everything.

Five-star service at Swiss-Belhotel Harbour Bay. I was particularly impressed by the hospitality standards set by Tesa and Melantiya. They both demonstrated an 'all out' attitude, handling my requests with efficiency and a personal touch that is rare to find. They are a credit to the Swiss-Belhotel brand and made my stay seamless.

All staff are friendly and kind, the check in and check out process is assisted well and friendly.

Good location if we are taking ferry at Harbour bay, convenience store and bakery just in front of the hotel. Great service from hotel staff, excellent hospitality. Clean and nice ambience

The staff was friendly, the location is quite strategic, near access to restaurants and minimarkets. The room was comfy and clean. Will stay here again when I go to Batam.
