Good location and good staff.

Staff are welcoming, friendly and very helpful. The meals are great value for money. The drinks served in the bars are reasonable. The rooms are clean and comfortable, they need a little updating, it doesn't have a negative impact on the overall experience.

Great breakfast, good choice including gluten free porridge and also gluten free bread on request. Room 312 family room had a separate single bedroom and a lovely sea view. Hotel has seen better days but was great value. Would stay there again. Carpark at back was difficult to find due to road works, needed to go wrong way up a one way street. We had to ask Reception to find this out, there are no directions on website. Reception said council had made it two way during roadworks but there were no signs.

The room was dirty, the window rattled.and had a gap and there were roadworks right outside which woke us up

Nice room , comfy bed , nice that there was a wardrobe so that I could unpack , staff were friendly.

Staff were good but room was dated and water flow for the bath/shower was so slow!!

Thought we'd booked a superior sea view room as per your photo but we had the back view with wrought iron stairs to look at. The room was ok and huge bed but asked to move as wanted sea view, which they kindly did. Staff very good. Bar prices very good. Hotel great location. 2 bars. There was a singer too.

End rooms are currently subject to roadwork noise Monday to Friday. Great location.

Love this hotel always friendly and on site parking :) Just one issue is the surrounding demolition work and building works

Don’t believe all the negativity on here about the Burlington. Yes, it’s old. Yes, it needs extensive refurbishment. But our room - a superior sea view twin - was spacious, well equipped and clean. The breakfast at £10 was excellent value. Overall, a good option and 4/5 stars.

Great location, easy access to town

We did not have breakfast at the hotel. It was good to find one that offered just the stay. We invited friends for lunch and the service was, friendly, efficient and more than excellent, and we could all sit and view the sea at the same time. We were out all day on both days attending an event, so it did not matter that the view was the fire escape. The beds were comfortable and clean and you provided an extra blanket. The staff at reception were extremely kind and helpful and it was a pleasure to meet them. If we could have reserved a parking spot (disability!) that would have been good but we found somewhere, since it was not the height of the season.

Staff were all very kind and understanding of my son's autism and made our stay extremely pleasant and enjoyable.
