Checked in and checked out 50 minutes later, poor dated hotel that needs a deep clean, the place is empty, no AC in the whole hotel and charge you for parking even if you book a night. Room was awful, my great nan might have liked it - terribly dated! Staff not helpful and will not refund so they have kept the money for the night, and even a breakfast that we did not eat - No Customer Service! Over to the CC company to fight.

Car park lot of space, convenience to go to anywhere. The room is clean and tidy. Will come back again.

Stayed for 2 nights. Arrived early so we used leisure facilities. Room was not ready at 3pm hotel reception gave us a voucher for free coffee. Stayed in double deluxe room. Rooms need upgrading IE lick of paint, shower screens instead of shower curtains. Breakfast slow with bringing out the bacon and coffee machine one broken the other not doing a cappuccino. I would stay again for convenience of festival.The staff our lovely.

Overall, it wasn’t a bad stay, but it could have been better. My children really enjoyed the pool, and the food was good. The only major downside was that the room didn’t have air conditioning, which was quite surprising since every hotel we’ve stayed at has had it. The heat made the room quite uncomfortable, although the fans provided did help somewhat.

A decent place to stay before getting the ferry the next day. The staff are excellent and ultimately that's what makes or breaks a place

My partner and i had planned a short 3 night stay in Maidstone, and comparing hotel standards Orida Hotel appeared to offer the best standard. Check in was easy and was allocated a double ground floor room (2 x 2 doubles) close to the Reception. The room was spacious. The beds and linen were very good with new pillows ( my partner had a bad experience and also checks the beds). The towels and dressing gowns were also freshly linined. Due to the heatwave 2 fans were provided as the room did not have air con, which was a little surprising but were helpful. The negative areas of the room is that it requires to be redecorated as is it looking tired with damaged wall paper. The main concern was the bathroom, the sink was rusting and peeling. The room door latch was broken and should have either been replaced or removed. The outside bar area was clean and tidy, my partner who has a disability wanted a coffee and was escorted by the duty manager carrying her coffee to a suitable table. Breakfast, on both days the ladies on breakfast reception were polite and smiling, breakfast itself was acceptable with a choice of hot (sausages were very good) and cold, fresh fruit, small pastries, gluten free and excellent coffee. We chose not to eat evening meals as the menu did not appeal to us. Due to the lack of air con, and overall standard we left early on the 2nd night. Being disappointed we will not be returning. The hotels location would benefit many people who require central location.

Hotel maidstone was a beautiful hotel very friendly staffs and environment very clean good food bit on the high price but ever way is in these conditions the only down side is there no lift to the second floor just stairs and having to take your suitcases up the stairs staff help one way which was ok but our stay was comfortable didn't manage to use the pool and health club because I had a family wedding to go to

Nice hotel, reception area, restaurant and health club all good, rooms need a bit of updating though. Pool nice although mainly used for children’s swimming classes. Sauna and steam rooms good, long waiting time between when the jacuzzi automatically switches on. Restaurant meals excellent, breakfast not so great. Arrived an hour early and room was ready but could only go to it at that time if we were prepared to pay a £10 early check in fee! Which I felt wasn’t good customer relations, still did have an ok two night stay

There are many good things about this hotel and I would stay here again. My negatives were although the cooked options were good why does a four star establishment provide mostly tinned fruit at breakfast and yogurt in tubs. You used to be better than this. I also went for a swim at 6.30pm on a Friday to find that two thirds of the pool was taken by classes. I found that there is a list available for club members but not hotel guests. I could also have been informed as I went to get changed but instead sat by the poolside for a wasted 30 minutes and could not use the facility for exercise. Not surprisingly I was less than happy. This review is not to help travellers plan better but for staff to provide a better environment for those guests.

Really nice place to relax staff really helpful and it was just a nice experience

The carpet, bed frame, walls, and more were dirty. The bathroom sink, tiles and floor were cracked. It was grubby and disappointing. I’ve stayed here before and don’t remember it being like that. It was late when I arrived so I put up with it. Then I had a cleaner banging on my door before I had even got out of bed. I sent feedback after check in on the link I received and heard nothing so decided there wasn’t any point in saying anything to any staff - other reviews say similar things

The staff made me feel welcome as a solo traveller on a large busy hotel, and accommodated my bike which was amazing. Thank you

Quality was above what I expected for the price.
