The hotel was OK, but for the price I felt the room was dated compared to other budget hotels. No air con in our room, light switch controlled ALL lights in the room, so no bedside reading light which is really annoying when there's two or more of you sharing a room. TV channel options seemed to be hit and miss. Other than that breakfast was good and staff were very helpful and pleasant. In terms of location it was ideal, but if I was less fussy about location there are probably better value hotels in Maidstone. Oh and you have to pay for parking, not a massive charge, but just include it in the bill, otherwise it just feels like an unnecessary extra cost that I don't think is well advertised when booking

The staff were very friendly and helpful during our stay. The fan in our room wasn’t working late in the evening, and it was very hot. The receptionist kindly brought us a spare fan, which we really appreciated—she was very understanding and helpful for our family. Breakfast was always delicious with a big variety of choices. The only downside was the changing room, which felt dirty because there was a lot of hair on the floor.

The room was so bad we checked out. The window frame was filthy covered in black mould, wouldn’t like to think how long ago it was clean. The beds seemed clean but everything else was marked and dirty. The walls, paint work, carpet, nets, bathroom. Every where just felt grubby. Most certainly not a 4 star hotel.

What a lovely place. The reception staff were welcoming and professional, and the facilities were excellent. It was quite busy during the day because of half term, but by the evening things became much calmer and we were able to enjoy everything properly. The room itself was lovely. There were a couple of minor issues, as the previous guests had left rubbish behind on the lamp, and we noticed some silverfish in the bathroom. Neither issue had a major impact on our stay though. Breakfast was excellent with a really good range of options, although the vegetarian sausages could definitely be improved. Overall, the location is great, the staff are lovely, and we had a very enjoyable stay.

The hotel and facilities are cared for and standards are maintained. There are areas that need improving very easily, better street signs not really hotels problem but would help navigate local surrounding area. Definitely explore as it is in great location… For me not having coffee espresso available unless bought! Frustrating because again simply rectified. Can’t fault the place and will definitely visit again. Staff in gym great.. pool great and all leisure facilities great.. Surrounding area very quiet and peaceful. Good choice of food including gluten free for me… but no snacking food easily accessible and private… I like to be alone! Not everyone is a social butterfly

On the whole a lovely clean hotel. There was some dust behind furniture etc when pulling out to get to sockets. Breakfast was lovely and a good variety. At dinner the food was very nice except for the pie unfortunately the pastry was rock hard, but filling was nice. The pool was great for the kids and the room was nice and large with 2 X doubles and a double sofa bed for 4 of us. The 3 fans provided were great and kept us nice and cool in extremely hot weather. The fridge in the room was also very handy for keeping cool. Lounge area is lovely to relax in some air con and have a drink or meet friends. Overall a great stay and I would definitely recommend.

The buffet was extremely disappointing. Overcooked fish. No vegan alternative. Had to wait ages for someone to check each time which food was dairy free (for an allergy) as nothing had labels on it. The room was clean but the bathroom floor had permanent stains on it and the sink was also chipped or just very old. Didn't have time to use the pool but could smell it at the end of the hall near the pool. Pay for parking daily and you have to re-register your car each day! Reception area bar area and patio area were all very pleasant to sit in. Coffee making facilities in conference area was good, nice coffee.
