Great location

Very nice clean, well-maintained hotel in Zermatt. Main hotel is immediately across the road. Rooms nice, breakfast good, breakfast room nice. Relatively basic but great price-point for Zermatt.

Great location near the train station

This is a two star hotel, but the quality at which it is kept makes it feel as though it is much, much better! Seriously happy with this hotel, very clean, close to everything (as every hotel in Zermatt is), good water pressure and hot water. Breakfast is good, although if you like bacon/eggs/sausage there isn’t any except some eggs which you have to boil yourself. Other than that there was a wide variety of bread and pretzels, yoghurts, ham, cheese and cereal and some fruit. For the price paid and the prices of other hotels, this is a great choice! The rooms, however, don’t have air con so you rely on cool air coming through.

It was excellent, near to the train station, te dowtown, and the gornergrat. Very large room.

Nice location in the village. Good-size room with an older-looking bathroom. You have to go to the hotel next door to check-in where they only had one person doing the work for a few of us showing up at the same time. More illogically, they had three people at the desk the next morning for checking out. Good breakfast.

Loved the location right in town!

The room was very clean and beds made daily. The bed was comfortable. It was very quiet and we enjoyed our stay. The continental style breakfast was very good, with delicious bread/rolls/pastries. It was self service, which we prefer. We had a big balcony, which was lovely, though not a great view, due to the location, surrounded by other buildings - though in the centre of town. The decor/furniture was a bit dated and could do with being modernised. However, we had a great stay!

Excellent property center of the town and close to the railway station. All shops and pharmaceutical's closeby walking distance. Can see Matterhorn the toblerone chocolate logo beautifully from the church point. The only drawback in the room is the charging outlets. But the receptionist was very helpful in providing universal plugs. Our room was very spacious with a huge balcony. Electric kettle is provided but bring your own tea/coffee.

This hotel is very horrible. When I checked in, I told the clerk at the front desk that I am a 70-year old man and I need a convenient room. The room assigned to me is on the fourth floor, room number is 40, which is not a regular room. In this room, the ceiling of shower area is very low, and I can’t have a shower and stand strict up, my head hitting the ceiling. … I was hurt … This room should not be put in the market for servicing guests. I request that my money should be fully refunded I will fight for it.

Great location from the train station and right in town. Just a short walk away! It was easy to walk to the Gornegrat too for skiing. Everything was a 3-5 minute walk away. Convenient and nice rooms/clean stay. The free breakfast included was so nice to have as well. I would definitely stay again during my next trip to Zermatt!

This hotel is in a very convenient location, just a few minutes' walk from the train station. While the room was on the smaller side, it was perfectly sufficient for a solo traveler. A simple breakfast buffet is included, which is a nice touch. Though the amenities are a bit dated, they are fully functional. Overall, it’s a solid, dependable choice for a short trip.

Can’t get any closer to everything. Migro 4 min walk, McDonald’s 3 min walk. Train station 3 minute walk, etc

Perfect location. Walk from train station, downtown just steps from everything. Friendly staff. Love the vintage and historical feel, super clean, great beds. Can’t say enough good things.

This hotel was decent for the price but is kind of rundown and check-in is at a different hotel which isn’t convenient.
