This is a no frills hotel but it’s all you need for a night or two stay, it’s clean, beds comfortable, shower was lovely and they put towels and a soap n shower gel new with your towel set. We never used the towels as I always like to bring my own from home. Kettle and coffee n milk jiggers and two cups and there was a full size fridge in the room and a tv on wall. Location is fantastic, as said all you need is a clean place to sleep and shower. Over all a good stay for the night as was going to The River Rooms to see a bad.

The staff were friendly. The room was very basic, which I don't mind as we got a cheap offer. The window was broken (had a butter knife to keep it open) and opened only to a maximum of 20 cm, and it was around the corner, so we were boiling inside (no air con). Would've been nice to have mattress protectors on the beds, as the sheets kept coming off, and there was a bare mattress underneath.

Great value, especially considering the location. Room was simple & clean. Another bonus was convenient on-site parking.

The Room stank of stale tobacco, when I checked in I was told numerous times that the rooms were strictly non smoking, it didn't help all the rooms look onto the smoking area of the hotel but the smell in the room was not just from outside. The Pillows were Paper thin and at 6:30am I was awoken by staff talking extremely loud outside the window. (The window had to stay open due to be it being a very warm night)

Located in centre of town there was a lot of noise from people going to and from pubs/clubs, also a lot of boy racers in there cars driving around and around constantly past our room window, we did stay on a Saturday night so probably busier than other nights, but had to have window open due to being hot and no air conditioning, and even with window closed still quite noisy. Made it difficult to sleep till about 2am when people started going home, obviously this is out of the hotel’s control and with it being an old building I assume they can’t replace old sash windows with modern ones to reduce the noise. Other that the noise the hotel was quite nice and was a reasonable standard for the price and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Great value and excellent location, particularly for public transportation. I have stayed several times. Pub is closed, no food and drinks available, but you’re on Stourbridge High Street, independent cafe near rear access and Greggs + Starbucks near front access, Wetherspoons 5 minutes walk. It’s a medieval building so some bits are wonky or tight. Sometimes a niggle with the cleaning or no new coffee/tea supplies but staff are great and have always sorted satisfactorily. Parking is at rear and can get busy, do not forget to enter car registration in the iPad at front desk, otherwise you’ll be sent a parking charge. 10 minutes walk to Stourbridge bus station (access to Brierley Hill, Merry Hill, Dudley, Birmingham, Wolverhampton and other places), same site is Stourbridge Town rail link to Stourbridge Junction (from SBJ direct trains to Kidderminster, Severn Valley Railway, Worcester, Birmingham, Solihull, Stratford upon Avon regular services plus a few trains a day to/from London Marylebone).

Basic room with a comfy bed. Perfect for my one night stay, lovely part of town with nice Sushi restaurant close by and cafes etc. Room was clean, no hairdryer, but I didn't ask, maybe there was one I could have got from reception. Thin walls, man next door snoring loudly and I could hear his loud conversation on the telephone! I will definitely come again though, good price and being clean was my priority.

I paid on arrival at 5:10pm, to be then asked for my card details in full that made me feel uncomfortable so l froze my bank card. So glad l did as the young girl tried to charge me again 4 times from 9pm up until 9:30pm, she clearly gave up and although the Manager Islam was helpful l am yet to receive assurance via email that their error won’t be duplicated. I would avoid if l am honest
