Tech Dome Penang is the first science centre on the island and an initiative by the Penang State Government to create a hub for technology learning and the exchange of ideas. It is said to be a vehicle for improving scientific literacy and technology ability in Malaysia.

Located strategically at the geodesic dome of KOMTAR, visitors can explore over 150 interactive exhibits across 7 galleries. One of the main attractions there would be the G-Drop, the world's first free-standing vertical drop slide.

I had a lot of fun with my friends. We tried many different exhibits. The memorable ones were Freeze Your Shadow and Gravity Drop, which they said is the world's first free-standing vertical drop slide
