About Kertajaya Terminal

Terminal Kertajaya is a major transportation center in Mojokerto, offering a range of public transportation services to facilitate mobility for residents and visitors. At this terminal, passengers can choose from various types of transport, including rural transport, city transport, agglomeration transit buses, airport buses, and intercity buses.

Since March 21, 2020, Terminal Kertajaya has hosted the intermodal transport service or airport bus routes operated by Perum DAMRI. With four business-class buses available, this service connects Mojokerto with Juanda Airport, enhancing accessibility between the two locations. This initiative aligns with the vision of the Mojokerto City Government to position the city as a premier tourism destination highlighting its rich history and culture.

Terminal Kertajaya also serves as the terminus for two intercity routes within the province (AKDP) using medium buses with a capacity of up to 24 passengers. The first route is Mojokerto–Joyoboyo, linking Mojokerto with the East Java capital, Surabaya. The second route is Mojokerto–Pasuruan, offering the fastest access between Mojokerto and the East Java 'tantalizing' region without requiring a transit in Surabaya. Bus operators for these routes are typically local cooperatives or bus companies, such as PT Djoko Kendil, Koperasi Amoedi Putra, and Koperasi Avi Jaya Berkah.

The terminal also accommodates various large intercity buses with economy-class facilities. Most of these buses serve routes from Surabaya to the western part of East Java, as well as several major cities in Central Java, Yogyakarta, and West Java. Additionally, there are long-distance economy bus routes connecting this terminal with the East Java 'tantalizing' region. Although the departure schedule for these routes is more limited compared to other routes, this service remains crucial for intercity mobility.
