The Waring House

It is a very unique and whimsical property. It is clear the owners take pride in the upkeep of The Waring House.

Our room was not clean. There were disgusting stains on the carpet and I'm not quite sure what else. Not sure if it was medication or a candy or something else in front of screen door.

The breakfast was amazing, the garden was beautiful, the room was huge!

Waring House is a large facility with a variety of accommodation. It has beautiful gardens and property. The room was large, clean and comfortable with a lovely deck . The breakfast was freshly prepared and delicious.

My partner and I stayed overnight while on a cycling trip. The front desk had a safe sure place for us to secure our bikes. The room was clean and comfortable.it was a lovely getaway.

The room was fantastic. Large tub, large room, king sized bed, massive balcony, etc. The property was great for walking around. Quiet and quaint. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. We would love to come back and try one of the cooking classes they have. I would recommend The Waring House to anyone and everyone looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway. The price was great as well.

Very quaint place. We were in an older building first that was musty and lots of bugs in the room. We then upgraded to a newer building that was a lot nicer. The rooms were nice. The shower was small; but I made it work (and I’m 6’2). Very serene place, well situated close to downtown picton.

Lovely view of fields. Well kept grounds and unit. Hot tub great. Location excellent service. Bike trail passes property.

Rooms are very tired, including bathroom, beds, carpets, patio door…

We were celebrating a major anniversary. This was a great location to explore our favorite towns in Prince Edward County. Food and accommodations were excellent.

The breakfast was really good, I'd go back just for it. The room itself was large with country style decor. The whole hotel was new, but had a nice country style feeling.

Enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was included and was awesome with a full menu, not a buffet. Our server was excellent and very friendly. There were only 2 servers with 15-16 tables and yet they were super efficient. The TV in our room did not work the first night and the front desk did not return my call. It worked the next day before a service man arrived.

Although the room was clean and accommodations were comfortable. The ceiling in our room above the bathroom door starting leaking during the night. I woke up to the sound of water and things falling around 4:30am. Waking up to find part of the tile around the light fixture had fallen. I turned off the air conditioning unit as the blower was just above this tile and light fixture. I couldn’t get back to sleep as I was worried something else would come tumbling down. I alerted the front desk and showed photos. There was no way this kind of damage occurred in one night as there was staining on the adjacent tiles. No apology was made, no offer to reduce the cost of the room. The pub food and service was great as well as the live music in the evening. Breakfast was great, if you ask for orange juice though, you will get half a glass. The breakfast wait staff seemed overwhelmed, we felt like a burden.

Lovely atmosphere,comfortable rooms and plenty of dining options

There was a spider over my bed and ebs. The balcony chairs were griss. The entry smelled stale snd weird. The food was goid. Breakfasts great and grounds very pretty

Nice. But close to a big road. Full of historical charm.
