Victoria Hotel

Rooms were tidy and air conditioning worked great.

The location is very convenient from Frankfurt Main Train station, only five minutes walk. The hotel itself is all right, personally I think it’s a three stars hotel. The room is clean and tidy. The size of the shampoo and the shower gel is very small, only for one night stay. We didn’t have breakfast in the hotel since we knew there is a cafe/bakery next door. Be honest, the area where the hotel locates is very messy and very noisy. The homeless people and the drug users are all in this area, even it’s kind of busy street during the day, it doesn’t seem very pleasant, you might feel unsafe if you are a lady and walk alone at night. Also pocket- lifter are around this area, be aware if you are walking or even sitting in the restaurants. They(come usually as two) will come in and sit in the restaurant like customers and pretend to pick up something from their jacket pocket, but actually they are trying to steal from your jacket pockets that you usually put it on the back of your chair. We had this situation fortunately we did not have anything in the jacket pockets. We witnessed this, they got up and walked out the restaurant in one minute without looking at the menu. Seriously, there is nothing against the hotel, the hotel itself is ok, but we will try to stay away from this area next stay.

Staff was rude, air conditioning did not work, area is not safe

The photos of the hotel are deceiving. The lobby is beautiful and looks exactly as the photos online; however, the rooms were nasty. The white bedding had brown stains, our first room the shower was clogged and flooded the bathroom, in addition the shower floor parts of it had broken tile. We moved to a second room due to the first room shower. The second room shower also had broken tile, dirty grout, stains on the white bedding, the room was dusty, there was only one body towel for a room that slept 3 people. I do not recommend this hotel. We paid for two nights and we left after the first night. It was also in a bad part of town.

Renovated, comfortable, quiet hotel.

Great location, a walking distance from Frankfurt train station and from Frankfurt museums and restaurants. The area is a bit noisy at night, and the room is quite small, but it's a great value for the cost.

Very nice property. Clean rooms, friendly staff and lots of dining options nearby. We found street parking easily during our stay but the hotel does not have parking.

This is rated as a 4 star hotel but it’s more like 2. It’s in a dangerous area (drugs, homeless, red light) and the property itself is pretty old and dirty (mold in the showers).

Staff were friendly, always present and helpful. Jut the room key system was old and therefore had issues if close to a credit card or magnetic object.

Very nice stay at the Victoria Hotel in Frankfurt. The staff was friendly. The room was spacious. Location was within walking distance to the train station. Nice breakfast too.

Nice, renovated and comfortable hotel close to the main train station and a ten minute walk from the cathedral, Römerplatz and main shopping streets.

The area around the train station has gotten very unsafe.

Very close to the central train station. Also, easy walk to many sightseeing places. Minimal, but everything you might need for a short stay. I didn't have breakfast at the hotel, because there are so many options available around.

Convenient location and friendly staff

Excellent one night stay very close to the central station - not the nicest part of town but a very economical and hassle-free stay in a very clean hotel. Small but comfortable run with air-con and good internet. Would return for ease and a great nights sleep!!!

Really enjoyed my stay here. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Only thing to consider is that it's in a noisy area but that's not on them. Highly recommended.
