Hotels near Tabing Station

The second night staying here after my sons asked me to stay more nights in the same hotel with ocean view. Last year we stayed here, too. Recommended hotel for vacation and pleasure.

I had the most pleasant stay here. The bedroom is pretty big, the bed is comfortable, the bathroom is huge, I had the main street view. What I love most about this hotel is that it has a mini fridge. The check in process was pretty fast, less than two minutes. Before you want to check in, make sure you have 200.000 IDR with you for the deposit. But, don't worry! There's an ATM (BCA) next to the hotel. The location is very strategic. It's easy to get to some places, like bars, traditional market, supermarkets, the beach, and restaurants. I didn't get to try the food and the drink at the bar. Apparently, they're pretty expensive and you need to pay 21% additional fee for tax. The thing that I think needs to be improved is the TV. The quality of the TV is pretty bad. Looks like it's full of ants. But, I am okay with that. Who watches TV nowadays anyway? Also, the wifi is pretty slow. Overall, I would give this hotel a rate of 9 out of 10. Definitely will stay here again in the future.

It's such a good place to spend the night with a cozy and clean room. If you need to go spinning around, you can take a taxi or other public transportation. If you love to go shopping, there's shopping center in the next building. You can eat, you can have fun, or just go sightseeing. Thanks, Basko. I love it.

Very good ambience. My baby feel like home here. Extend the room for 2 days. But, the breakfast menu is less varied. Waited too long when checkout at receptionist :( Thank you Mercure Padang, for the room and services. We are glad for the improvement ahead!

The room was clean. They also provided free mineral waters that I used to make coffee. The staffs were also very helpful when I asked various questions regarding the hotel facilities.

The location near Padang Beach (7 minutes by walking). The room was okay. Enough for solo traveler like me. The wifi is really good. The best compare to other hotel that always disconnect.

I had the most amazing experience ever while staying here. So, I booked for a regular room and requested for a main road view. Turned out the room that I booked didn’t have a main road view. But the receptionist was really helpful. She upgraded my room into a better and bigger room with the main road view without paying any additional fee. I also asked them to find the nearest clinic and they were super helpful. But the thing that I wasn’t really happy about was you can’t take your own breakfast. They do it for you. But overall, it was wonderful to have stayed here. This is the best experience ever. I really recommend you guys to stay here. You won’t regret it.

A strategic location near the beach, room is clean and comfy. great price too

Food is tasty, room is clean and there are have quran and sajadah for praying, staff is very helpful, warm greeting.. overall is good and i'll back to this hotel in other padang trip
