I stayed at Artotel Surabaya for 11 days. After breakfast, I always got my room already cleaned up and neat every single day. They provided a very comfort bed. There are various of dishes for breakfast. The staffs are excellent and kind. They took the extra mile to make sure I was known personally and get all I need. I've been stayed at many different hotels in many dofferent cities in Indonesia, but for me, Artotel Surabaya is very impressive for a 3 stars hotel. Well done guys!

Because it was comfortable, I extended my stay to the same room. I booked Room S. The bed, floor, and bathroom were clean. Free snacks were provided. The staff at this hotel were also friendly, except for the bespectacled female receptionist who was a bit unfriendly. Parking was a bit tricky due to the limited parking area, but valet parking is available. Overall, this hotel is affordable and very comfortable.

Friendly staff, and many locations within walking distance: cafes, restaurants, and even morning CFD.
The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. One thing that needs improvement is the refrigerator in each room, considering Surabaya's relatively hot weather. Secondly, the in-room entertainment facilities are very limited (the TV should be set to smart so customers can enjoy shows tailored to their preferences, such as Netflix with a personal account).

Sorry, we got caught in the rain without any help, no umbrella, and were left alone. When we arrived in the lobby, we were met with the uncomfortable stares of the bespectacled receptionist and the tall, thin man. There was no security guard either. Why, because we took the lowest room? Sorry, we booked according to the information provided in this application. We got a promotion, so we were grateful. But if the promotion ends up being demeaning, sorry, is that the standard operating procedure from your hotel management? Class.

The room is super comfortable and the location is also strategic, close to the city, but access to motorbike parking is a bit scary because it only uses a chain and there is no guard to open/close the chain, so it is less safe and too close to the main road.
