We had an awesome time at Tg Rhu Resort. Staff were friendly, attentive, and accommodating, always ready to help. If you're looking for tranquility, this resort has it all. Beautifully landscaped garden in the center of the two blocks of low-rise walk-up units. Picturesque and breathtaking view overlooking the Andaman Sea. Clean and beautiful private sandy beach. Spacious refurbished room. Comfy bed. Separate bathroom, toilet, and bathtub, all were very clean. Stunning sunset view from the Sunset pool. Breakfast was great too.

Such a lovely resort with a beautiful beach. Staff were very helpful. The kids loved it. Other than swimming, there isn’t aren’t very many activities. My wife felt the spa and dining options were limited. But I just enjoyed it as a place to truly relax and unwind away from the crowds. A very special resort.

Our recent stay in July 2025 at Tanjung Rhu Resort Langkawi was truly exceptional and one of the finest resort experiences we've had as a family.
The room was amazing—spotlessly clean, well-furnished, and incredibly comfortable. The front desk team, especially Ms. Fiza, was respectful, humble, and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. There was another gentleman at reception, unfortunately i missed his name.
We did face a small concern as there was no lift access to the 3rd floor, which was challenging for our family. Thankfully, Mr. Hakimin from the team was very understanding and quickly arranged a comfortable room on a lower level. His prompt support was much appreciated and showed the resort’s dedication to guest comfort.
Breakfast was a highlight each morning, offering a wonderful variety of Malaysian dishes—from freshly baked items to roti canai, custom egg omelets, and more. The entire team at the breakfast hall was warm and attentive. We were especially impressed when the General Manager, Mr. Hafiz, personally visited guest tables to ensure everyone was taken care of—a rare and thoughtful gesture.
The pool was another standout experience. It was clean, well-maintained, and perfect for relaxing with our family.
In summary, Tanjung Rhu Resort Langkawi provided top-notch service, warm hospitality, and memorable moments throughout our stay. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting Langkawi and would love to return in the future.

Such a lovely resort with a beautiful beach. Staff were very helpful. The kids loved it. Other than swimming, there isn’t aren’t very many activities. Tanjung Rhu Resort is located in a dream spot. Absolutely stunning private beach with beautiful sunsets. Beautifully maintained garden and lovely pool areas (separate pool for adults only which is ideal for a couple). Very attentive and friendly staff really made us feel welcome and taken care off. Dinner options not very exciting but great selection for breakfast. We absolutely loved our stay and would come back any time over the more ‘highly rated’ places in the west of the island where we’ve stayed as well.

Overall we had a good experience. The room was good and had all the basic necessities. The property itself is getting a bit outdated.
The view on the beach is amazing. The pools are huge which I really liked.
The options for food are ok. The quality of the food is below europeans standards. And the possibility to go out for diner require a bit more effort since the resort is very secluded and there is not much in the neighborhood.
We enjoyed the nature and the animals around the area.
The staff is a hit or miss. Some of them are well trained, others don’t know what they are doing. Which sometimes gives a bit bit of a confusing experience.
Overall a very nice place to stay.

The property is such a relaxing resort. The staff is top notch and very helpful. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the private beach is a plus, as are the two sculpted swimming pools. The suites are spacious and clean and even the outdoor bathrooms are pretty! My family and I did enjoy our stay.
One thing to note is that there are no lifts - we requested a change from a third floor room to one on the ground floor as my mother is elderly, and the front desk staff was able to get us one right away. If you have someone in your group who has mobility challenges, you might want to make the same request.
The next morning at breakfast (included in the stay), the executive assistant came to ask if we were satisfied with the room change and if there was anything else we needed. That’s good service!

We had a wonderful stay - the resort location is peaceful and stunning on its own private beach with amazing views. The staff are attentive and friendly. The food and drinks were great. The sea view room was amazing, especially at sunset!
