We didn't get the VIP amenity. Our room was super damp, smelled like mildew and the air conditioner flooded our floor two nights in a row. Also, All inclusive deals with other resorts i have been to always include dining access to all restaurants and bars on that property and even surrounding properties if owned by the same company. At Bahia Principe, the restaurants were reservation only and we were only allowed 2 reservations or of our 5 night stay and access to the other Bahia Principe properties had to be purchased at $20/ day for the remainder of your stay. Very disappointing.

It is our second time at the hotel and for the second time our stay was great, the beach is beautiful, fantastic entertainment and delicious food.

Staff was friendly property was beautiful. Plenty of activities throughout the day. Some of the shows were fantastic somewhere OK. Tons of natural wildlife, beauty, à la cart. Restaurants were fabulous. I really can’t stress enough, how amazing the staff was.
Didn’t like:
Teenagers are not allowed on the waterpark, even in Tulum Bahia . several times our 15-year-old daughter was offered alcohol. They did not pay attention to the bracelet. Into who the alcohol is out for pre-Freeport and did not have someone supervising ages of children getting piña colada’s with alcohol. Some of the children I seen doing this were very young.

I was not happy that the property did not know the name of the transportation company that is used to transfer us from airport to hotel. This delayed our arrival by 1 hour. We were told by other representatives that coupons and more information should have been provided to us at check in

The Bahia Cona resort was really nice. The only negative I had about the place was the staff could be a little more friendly and the food was always at room temperature. They should think about using steam tables or other methods in keeping the food warm instead of just Heating lamps on top.

We are Expedia Gold members who were to receive room upgrades when available, spirits in room...etc. Did not receive any of this. We were put in an old building that had NO ELECTRICAL OUTLETS. The light cancelling blinds were broken, the hair dryer didn't work. Our building faced the highway with constant noise. Expedia didn't let us know that a huge portion of the resort was closed off due to renovations. There were toilets and sinks, furniture, doors etc. all over the lawns as you walked the path to the beach...it was BRUTAL!!!!

My second time here, very comfortable for family vacation with VIP access to all restaurants. Got a bit of weed on the beach around Tulum resort. Staff is friendly, good live music and tequila, coffee machines. Clean and maintained properly, nice pools. Management did a good job.

This place has serious mould in rooms, air conditioning was controlled and not adequate on most days. The smell in the rooms was unbearable due to mould. Lamps were damaged and should have been replaced..Buffet was same with little variation each day. Desserts were of little quality..Guacamole was sparse and often not available..You couldnt find a banana on any day.. Found the service rude on more than one occasion.Bar drinks were not made with quality ingredients.Will not be going back to Bahia properties again.Oh ya, this is a big one....its end of April and all the pools close a 6 pm. IM ON VACATION. I WANT TO SWIM UNTIL AT LEAST 9 PM.

Resort overall was a great stay. It was clean and functional. My toilet was broken when I arrived to my room and they promptly came and fixed it. The food at the buffet was very good, they had a variety of option, one which was authentic Mexican which I appreciated!
The bed mattress was very firm and hard to get comfortable the first couple nights.
The service was not great. I am used to employees greeting everyone with a smile and trying to be accommodating. No one was rude but also not very approachable or friendly. There were a couple bar tenders who smiled and engaged.
