Malmaison Aberdeen

Lack of lift to suites and no mirror near a plug meant had to unplug tv and use it as a mulirror ot dry hair. Very stuffy room and opening window doesnt help as curtains block the cool air Otherwise brilliant room. Breakfast very disappointing ordered brioce bread which i have had at other malmaisons and it was awful no maple syrup no coulis no strawberries. Wiuld have been 5star but for lack of lift and plugs/air con and poor breakfast

Loved this hotel. Great staff all round from Check-in to Bar to restaurant. Room was quirky and spotlessly clean. Busy bar with a good mix of locals and residents. All in all a wonderful stay.

I was impressed with the standard of this hotel, the food in the restaurant was delicious. The bar star catered for my needs and made me the yummiest cocktails ever.

The hotel itself is beautiful—stylish rooms, great location, and excellent room service staff. Unfortunately, the front desk and customer service left a lot to be desired. I tried to book directly, but the hotel’s website was down. When I called the reservations office, I was disconnected—and when I tried again the next morning, they were closed until 10am. I ended up having to book through a third party. At check-in, I expressed my frustration and asked if they would honor the “member rate” listed on their site, which included a discounted dinner, breakfast, and late checkout. I was told curtly that there’s no such thing as a membership—despite that being the term used on their own website. There was no assistance with luggage, and the directions to the rear parking were vague. Though the setting was lovely and dinner was enjoyable, we skipped breakfast and chose another spa for the rest of our stay due to the poor front desk and reservation experience. Sadly, Malmaison Aberdeen has lost my confidence. I won’t be returning.

Weekend getaway for my wife's birthday, The hotel is beautiful, lovely staff and has a really nice ambience to it. Very well laid out, the dining experience was great, such tasty dishes. Overall a very pleasant weekend staying in this hotel.

We usually stay at Malmaison when visiting Aberdeen with the added bonus that it is dog friendly so our wee dog can accompany us. Staff are polite & friendly. Rooms are spacious, quiet and comfortable as well as stylish and well appointed. Thanks Malmaison!

Excellent stay to a hotel we have returned too several times. Had afternoon tea, an amazing spa treatment and then a steak dinner. With all this and our amazing room, everything was 10/10’ Thank you

The parking can be inconvenient at times as there is limited parking avaible at the front and back. If these are full, it’s difficult to find somewhere to park.

Great welcome, room and overall exeperience.

Loved our stay at Malmaison Aberdeen only one problem the heating in the room was not working. I called the reception but no answer. Apart from that we really enjoyed our overnight, we sat in the bar where we met a lovely couple . The Bar service was really good, enjoyed a cosy mulled wine on the comfy sofas.

Unfortunately we could not make the trip as my wife’s mum was taken into hospital. It was the night before are stay so could not get a refund. I did contact the hotel directly to see if there was a chance of a new date just in case. I did get a nice email from Amanda to confirm we could not . But did offer next time in Aberdeen they would look after us . Thanks again to Amanda.
