Leonardo Hotel Zurich Airport

We needed a hotel close to airport due to early international flight. The Leonardo was perfect. Friendly staff, wonderful rooms, and bus stop to airport right across the street. We would definitely stay there again!

Comfortable, stylish and welcoming hotel in an excellent location for Zürich airport and travelling into the city. Cosy, warm ambience in the reception and throughout the bar and dining areas, although very quiet and seemingly underused by guests during the evening. Maybe due to flight schedules or, more than likely, because the rooms were really very comfortable, quiet and tasteful. I put the mini fridge to use and ate in the room when arriving back late. In reception, there is a 'grab and go' selection of snacks, drinks and toiletry essentials which can be paid for later. Staff were friendly and helpful, particularly those at breakfast times. Nothing was a problem or too much to ask. The buffet selection at breakfast offered good variety, decent coffee and a calm, relaxing space. Location wise, it was perfect for me: bus stop to airport just across the road ( apparently the airport is also walkable, about 20 mins) and local station, Kloten, for trains into Zürich an easy 10 minute walk away. The immediate area had several restaurants, bars and a very useful Aldi Suisse. Overall, the Leonardo Zürich Airport hotel is a great choice for many reasons mentioned above, plus the room rates were very reasonable for this level of comfort. I would definitely choose to stay here again when I next visit.

This hotel deserves the high rating it's getting. It's super clean and nice decor but I was amazed at how quiet it was. We opened the window and realized just how loud the planes were but once we closed them, absolutely no noise! It was the best night sleep we had on vacation! The hotel front desk was super friendly - we chatted about her upcoming trip. We didn't eat the breakfast.

Good overall

Great modern hotel right close to the airport. There were a number of buses that shuttle you right to Zurich airport, across the street from the hotel. It was quiet and had everything you need. The air conditioning unit didnt get very cold, though.

Very nice hotel

Close to the airport only 2 bus stops. Great breakfast and friendly staff. To Zurich tourist areas, easy transportation tram from airport to Zurich HB only 25 minutes. I would definetely stay there again.

Everything ok, perhaps to change the hotel bar, will be good to be opened afther the breakfast time, in case you wake up late or anything, just to have a coffe or anything.

Very poor communication. Website unclear about the distance. Very rude staff. They dont provide shuttle from airport. The staff at the check in and check out time was very rude and unclear about transportation. Staff at check in told us we pay at hotel then found out we pay the driver. We could have got cheaper options for transportation.

Nice hotel near the airport

Proximity to the airport is the only positive. Hotel charges early check-in fee, even when rooms are readily available. You can’t borrow a Swiss plug/adapter, they are for sale at the front desk. Everything is designed to milk you. Customer experience is secondary.

The property and staff were very good. The location is convenient to airport and train stations but in undesirable area. The mattress are extremely hard but comfortable. The restaurant food is excellent.

This airport hotel is good so I am being critical as I do not like Zurich. Could have flown back late Sunday & missed hotel. City station airport business oriented rather than tourist. Signage train S and airport poor till after check in, help areas limited. NIederdorf disappointing place to be seen rather than atmosphere, old town limited, lake did not see left luggage full. Been to Geneva in pastwhich was good. Probably should have stopped at Lucerne so my mistake

Very friendly staff arrived very early due to flights staff gave me coffee and looked after while I waiting for my check in time which they brought forward. Looked after really well

Close to the airport with very spacious room, very clean, very quiet. Great first day at Zurich. Will come to stay next time to Swiss.
