Holiday Inn & Suites CHARLESTON WEST by IHG, an IHG Hotel

The carpets were very dirty was very cold and I was unable to adjust the temperature. I got in very late and just wanted to go to bed. I woke at 4 AM and decided to just leave.

The staff were very friendly. Breakfast was good as well. Overall it was great.

This was my 2nd time staying in this hotel. I can not say enough good/nice things about this place! My check in was quick and the woman working was kind and nice to chat with. The pool was wonderful! Clean, the water was nice. They also have a hottub which felt great after a long day of driving! Lastly, this morning I needed some extra caffeine and used everything i had in tge room. It was past breakfast hours and the young lady who was working was cleaning up. I asked if there was anywhere around to get coffee. She went and made me coffee. Ashley, went above and beyond to get me some coffee! All of the staff i have come in contact with have been very nice and polite. Keep up the great work Holiday Inn!

Staff was super nice. Had to get another room because of a faulty A/C, but the rest of the stay was nice. Good breakfast and nice pool area. Very nice dog area in the court yard, safe and well lit and maintained.

Nice clean and nice pool

This hotel was great for our needs - just passing through. We appreciated they allowed dogs and had a designated area for them. The room was pretty dark, but everything was clean. While the hotel is older and showed some wear, overall it was good.

The staff were extremely pleasant and friendly with all guests. We were staying for my daughter's softball tournament and this is where her team was staying. We definitely suggest using Hotels.com for booking purposes. If you stay on the weekends, breakfast doesn't start until about 710a, which as an issue for us because we had to be a the fields by 730a. The room was average, but we found trash between the wall and the bed my daughter slept on, so that was gross. Overall it wasn't a bad trip, the pool area was great for the girls. Average at best is how I would describe it, nothing above the normal other than the staff being kind. Even then they pushed not using 3rd parties like Hotels.com because they "can't help fix any issues with the stay or room." That to me was absurd as they were encouraging people to pay more for mediocre stays.

Overall, a decent hotel option. I would stay again but it is not anything special.

Great accommodations awesome staff Marina at the bar was the sweetest she could be and Melissa at the front desk was very helpful. Breakfast was great. Great group of people you have there.

It is a dog friendly hotel. I do not own a dog dogs everywhere. Not good

Room was nice And good customer service

Melissa who checked us in was amazing . Hotel property needs cleaned and remodeled. We found a half ate apple under the curtains. The place needs a deep cleaning inside and out.

The room I booked and paid for was not available. I was given a completely different room without being asked

Convenient, clean, wonderful staff

My husband and I stay here whenever necessary. We like it, because it is less than four miles from our house. I took a shower last night and noticed water in the floor, so I dried it up. Then I noticed the towel. It turned gray. I wore socks the rest of the night and tried not to think about what else was dirty. Even though the bathroom needed a better cleaning, the beds were comfortable, pillows were perfect and the air conditioner worked like a charm. It’s been in the mid to high 90s, so that’s all we cared about and the beds.

We had a wonderful stay. The food at the restaurant is delicious and the pool area is really nice. This will be where we stay whenever we stop through.
