I liked the restaurant, particularly for dinner. The view and the food both are good though the service is uneven. The fact that this is an eco-hotel should be stressed more in that its mission does not allow for rooms to be cleaned or refurbished during a stay, even a long one. I had no trouble calling the front desk for clean towels on our second day but that room gets dirty and disorganized nevertheless. The receptionist also gave me refills for the coffee machine when I requested them, which I appreciated. I found the use of LED lighting throughout the hotel brightly disturbing but I guess I'll just have to get used to it. But the dirty rugs in the halls and public areas should be cleaned. Bare floors in the rooms are one thing--ie., they can be wiped up. But garbage stained matting is another matter all together. Eco-awareness does not require poor house-keeping.
