Swiss Hotel

I had a great stay. The room was clean and the A/C worked great. Would stay again.

Small and tight rooms, but great usage of space. The owners are very friendly and the rooms do have a lot of useful amenities, although there is no fridge in the room. But for the price, would have liked a bit more space. Location is a few blocks from Byward Market and the university, but those few blocks do matter in feeling of safety - a bit quieter streets, a few more homeless etc.

Welcoming staff

My room was comfortable and exceptionally clean. A nespresso machine provided morning and evening coffees. The owner is a wonderful lady who is very helpful. There is both an indoor and outdoor sitting area, and she will make you a great latte to enjoy in either if you ask. The hotel is very conveniently located near to the Rogers Conference Centre (10 min walk straight to it) and the ByWard Market and its many eateries.

The hotel is super clean, nicely renovated, the bed is comfortable. The owner didn't unlock the door for us bc we were too early for check-in, we got there around 12 pm and the check-in is at 3 pm. I do understand we have to wait if the room is not ready. But we parked at the property and i didn't want to leave the car there without any note. I literally sneaked in behind some guests who had the buzz code. When we asked about a CAA discount she was all passive aggressive about it, telling us that they pay fee for 3rd party booking and since we know now, we will never ask again. If you have a 'child' who's 18 they are not allowed in their hotel. Only ppl over 18.

The hotel is very cute and has a lovely European flair to it. Sabina the owner was wonderful - absolutely a must place for your stay in Ottawa

At the Swiss Hotel the room in which we stayed was spacious and clean. Very restful and within walking distance of the Parliament Buildings, the National Gallery, and Byward Market. Very secure and safe.

Friendly and helpful staff always ready to address any questions concerns or needs you might have. The common areas of the hotel seemed very welcoming. An easy, stress-free stay.

Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe der Einkaufsstraße und das Zentrum ist zu Fuß sehr gut zu erreichen. Es gibt einen Supermarkt in der Einkaufsstraße in der Nähe. Es war alles sauber und das Personal und die Besitzer sehr freundlich.
