Batiqa is a great 3-star hotel!!! I really like the good-brand mattress and the pillows, not only are they high-quality but also long, so even though there are two pillows, they are not short, making for a very comfortable sleep. The room and bathroom are very clean, the interior is modern but warm and aesthetic, as is the lobby design, which is modern but full of local touches. For a 3-star hotel, the breakfast is also very complete, varied, and also includes local food. Enjoyed staying at Batiqa

This was the most hassle-free hotel I've ever been to. I initially booked for just one day. When I arrived, it was already 3 PM, but the room wasn't ready yet because it was a long weekend. But it didn't matter because I was in a hurry to leave, so I just left my things. The staff asked if I wanted my things delivered to my room once it was ready. I agreed and also borrowed a sarong and prayer mat. When I returned to the hotel that night, everything was neatly arranged in the room, including the sarong and prayer mat, neatly folded and fragrant. The room was clean and comfortable, and in the morning, when I opened the window, I was given a beautiful mountain view. It turned out I was given a nice room. Then, when I was about to leave, there were train problems due to flooding. In the end, I extended my stay for another day, and the process was still easy. When I wanted to check out the next day, I was allowed to pray in my room before checking out, and my room access card was extended without any hassle so I could still enter the room (because it was already past 12 PM). And because I had taken the brunch package at the hotel restaurant, I was able to stay in the restaurant until my shuttle was scheduled to depart. The staff's lack of rigid hotel rules truly put my husband and I at ease as we struggled to find a ride home. Thank you, Batiqa.

The hotel is in a pretty strategic location, but because I arrived in December (the rainy month), I was a bit worried about flooding, as the main road is known to be prone to flooding. The food (variety and taste) was okay. However, I got a top-floor room (9th floor) and a corner room. At night, there was quite a disturbing engine noise, and the air conditioning was also quite noisy, as if it hadn't been properly maintained.
