The check-in was smooth and I was given an upgrade to a suite which was huge and provided spaces I didn't necessarily need but wouldn't refuse to have. It was quite a big hotel and taking about 5 minutes walk to my room. The beach was within walking distance and conveniently surrounded with many options of stores. I planned to stay for one night, but since it was so enjoyable, I decided to stay one more night which was a no-brainer decision to make.

We’ve been here more than 3 times already. This was our 4th time, and we’ve been upgraded the room, to 2020 (room number). It was big, and two of our children loved it so much!

My first time staying at this hotel, I wasn't expecting much because the front of the hotel looked small. But once I entered, wow, it really is a resort. It's spacious, quiet, and comfortable. The front desk staff was also very friendly. Even though it was very late at night, they still patiently and thoroughly explained everything I had to ask. I got a free room upgrade. Check in from the Seminyak lobby, strategic location with many restaurants, cafes, marts, and pharmacies. The hotel actually extends to the back, with hotel types, villas, and suites. There's also a check-in lobby at the back, making it even closer to the beach. The hotel isn't too new, but it's comfortable. At night, the walk to the beach is lined with souvenir shops, cafes, gelato, and restaurants. There's a cheap and halal eatery called Warung Murah. In the morning, go to the barbershop, which sells delicious smoothies and coffee.

I really loved the vibe and the tropical feel of this hotel, especially the beautiful swimming pool. I also didn't mind the walk from the lobby to the room. The location in front of the hotel is also lively, busy with shops and pubs, and super close to Bintang Supermarket. The breakfast menu, though, was just standard. But, there was one thing that was a real problem: storing my pumped breast milk. I left my milk at the lobby, and they promised they'd put it in the kitchen freezer. In reality, the ice packs I left didn't even freeze, and the milk wasn't kept cold either. By the time I checked out, my ice packs were completely melted, and all my breast milk supply had gone bad by the time I got back to Jakarta. My suggestion is that star-rated hotels should really start thinking about the needs of breastfeeding moms. Since the fridges in the rooms are usually just mini-bars that aren't good enough for breast milk, please provide a proper freezer or fridge with a real freezer section just for storing their milk.
