Parking is a little tight, couple of three point turns, and watch your car doors when opening, but achievable....

I stayed at the Citrus motel for a week, With work. The staff were helpful and a pleasure to deal with. The rooms were spacious and clean. I will definitely stay again when in the area.

Holes in doors, carpet was dirty , paint flaking off everywhere. Smelt like mould in kitchen area ( had the family room) shower door falling apart when sliding shut. Wasn't game to use the mug provided for worry of what had been in it. Only thing I will say is bed was comfortable

nice owner and reasonable price

The first impression of this motel was the unclean state of the pool which seems to be the centre piece of their advertising. It was green and the walls were clearly dirty. No way would I swim in this pool even on the 36 degree day when we arrived. The room itself was clean and comfortable. The toilet and shower were clean and functioned well. The coffee mugs had rings in them from not being cleaned properly. The fridge worked well, even froze our esky blocks and kept the food nicely chilled. The area was quiet and close to dining options.

I was desperate to find anything clean with A/C during stifling heat. This place is older, but it’s clean and comfortable with out me having to sell a kidney to fund the stopover. The owners were most helpful and accomodating, whereas everything else was closed, or too far from shopping and costly. Excellent value for money!

Good property

It’s grateful to have the late check in arranged. However the room needs some upgrades.

Loud party out in car park till 2am, dirty swimming pool in the middle of summer so it was closed, tv didn’t work after numerous times fiddling with an antenna, & re-scanning, dead bugs under bed. Tiny single beds.

Cheap clean and quiet

There was a smell in the room and it did not feel exceptionally clean. Very outdated. Best thing was the watch pressure in the shower.

Mgr stayed up to let us into room as we were late on arrival which was very nice of them

Terrible smell

Hot water, toilet, shower and TV worked. An older style motel that is a bit tired. The tariff reflects the standard of accommodation. The motel was predominantly full for my 2 night stay. No noisey neighbours which was a bonus. Convenient location to Services Club, Bunnings Main Street. Used to stay in this motel when doing work in Griffith 15 years ago. Everyone and everything ages.

While the property was clean, the milk in the fridge was past its used by date by 6 days and the exhaust fan cover fell on my child while using the toilet. I told the lady at the front desk when we checked out at 9.30am while she was still in her pyjama's and her response was "Ok Thank you". Spend the extra $20 and stay else where if you care about service.

We booked here for the pool as it was close to the athletics track. However the pool was a major let down. The pool itself and area needs a massive clean, ladders need replacing and it had heaps of trip hazards. The owner or workers children just watched my daughter and I the entire time we were in the pool. It made us feel extremely uncomfortable. The fridge in the room didn’t keep anything cold or frozen and the room had a terrible smell. The bed were as hard as rocks. Someone was drilling into the wall I. The room next to us before 8 am it scared us. The only good thing was a good shower.
