Citrus Motel

The bathroom needs to be totally renovated. The towel rails fell off the first time we took a towel off. I reported it the following morning and still hadn’t been repaired one our exit 3 days later. The plastic hand basin had cracks in it and a hole. The tap swiveled around when it shouldn’t. I couldn’t reach the rail in the closet to hang up my things. The daily service was basically just empty the bins. The pool needs a thorough clean. It dirt everywhere in it.

Pool looked great in the photos, however, it was not cleaned properly and had water boatmen fly and backswimmers doing laps. The algal bloom on the bottom had attempted to be cleaned but was no where near effective. On a 38 degree day, it was very disappointing to not be able to use the pool. The hotel room was outdated and grimy. Dirty marks on the walls. Old pepperoni stick on one of the bed heads. Stains on the towels. Bathroom basin cracked and the towel rack fell off from a slight bump. We weren't brave enough to use the shower. Quite noisy from the road traffic. The one positive was the air conditioning was new and working really well. Bed linen was fresh.

Cleaning

A part of the shower screen door was missing so there was a wide gap when having a shower, there was a dirty rag under the bathroom sink where it looks like it had been leaking water, the mattress was very hard, a light fixture was coming out of the ceiling, no breakfast and no milk offered on arrival for coffee or tea.

I had a wonderful stay , Freindly manager accommodated my request to check in earlier at a very last minute booking . Microwave , plates , caps , biscuits, milk , everything is provided ! Highly recommend this hotel ! Parking at your door .thank you ! I will be back on my next trip to town

The staff member at reception was friendly enough but lacked giving information, like where the room was located. Blinds were all stained and ratty, holes in doors, table and fridge missing feet, oven and stove stop filthy. Couch was stained. Had to have a plumber come at 10.30pm to fix a tap that wouldn’t turn off. I will say they at least actioned that straight away. We were not game to use the kitchen at all, it did not look like it had been cleaned at all. There were still coffee stains on the sink drainer, hair and dust in the cutlery drawers. The pots were filthy and the cupboards smelt dusty and moldy. Very disappointed.

Everything was good

Bbqs were advertised, but unusable as there was no gas bottle and they were filthy. Shower screen was broken, air con was not great. Undesirable clientele with police presence on 1 night, was worried about our vehicle being broken into or tools stolen.

Beyond dirty, everything was broken

Well located in Griffith. Easy walk to Leagues Club for dinner and next day to main street and shopping centre. Very clean and in a quiet location. Can recommend.

Pillows and beds were very uncomftable. The pillows felt like they'd been filled with sand. Room was old and smelt like cigarette smoke. Air conditioning unit was so blocked with dust that it barely worked.
