The gentleman who checked me in was very polite and extremely helpful. I had a client appointment in the restaurant. He had me checked in and ready to go by the time I had finished. The staff are excellent and they a genuinely happy.

All staff always helpful during our short stay, nothing was a problem, booked for one person, one breakfast, meant to book for two of us, easily fixed. Room very comfortable, excellent space, like the size of two rooms, relaxing. Good start to our holiday.

We stayed one night in a Deluxe Suite with Balcony due to the great location near Her Majesty’s Theatre, unfortunately the check in process took 30 minutes due to an error by the reception lady who made a mistake with the Room # on our card, so we went back to reception to explain the card did not work for the allocated room, Maintenance was then called as a possible flat battery, (but he was told it was a faulty TV) but on opening the door realised this Room was already occupied - whoops. So back to the reception to work out what the real problem was and obviously the wrong room number transposed on the card. This is a simple error but not a great start to our short stay. We specifically booked this hotel due to the indoor pool and spa facilities on offer, unfortunately the advertising does not live up to our expectations. The pool was absolutely freezing along with the chlorine level of the spa being super high so left with watery red eyes and a sharp chlorine smell on the skin. On a cold winters day I would have thought this would have been a priority to the staff or maybe they are saving on electricity costs at this time of the year? Also no Robes or Slippers in the room. The breakfast buffet was included in the rate, small selection of food which was seriously lacking in heat and flavour and we paid extra for a decent coffee, so if you are looking for a hot pool and breakfast I would not recommend this Hotel.

Did not like. Balcony door did not lock. It had no lock at all. Breakfast buffet was ok, but only ok. No slippers or bath robe in expensive room with lounge and spa bath.

Happy with the accomodation with regard to the room facilities, AC unit kept changing the temperature overnight leaving the room cold in the morning. Location is good within the city. Close to amenities and good food places. Real let down was the pool and spa. Absolutely freezing, if it was heated it was either not working or the 2 ice baths sitting next to them were being emptied into the pool. Made it unusable and there was nothing done to rectify after multiple comments made. Kids were looking forward to swimming and spending time in the pool. Multiple families dipped their toes and left. Wasn’t managed well at all.

Booked the deluxe room - was spacious and a huge bathroom....the bed was super comfortable - had a great stay and finished off with their buffet breakfast - excellent selection of food - totally enjoyed our stay and this hotel is worth the $$$

I never write reviews, but this warranted one. The only reason I booked this hotel, which is not as close to amenities (except central market) as other hotels was to access what appears to be the only hotel indoor heated pool in Adelaide. This was not working - it was freezing. Apparently it was a maintenance issue they’d “just heard about” that day and there were maintenance staff there to fix it (we saw no one). No one advised us of this, prior to (or at) check in, even though I specifically asked where to find it. The spa was also not hot and the bubble function not on. Second, we found a sugar sachet under a pillow in our bed, which is concerning as to whether the sheets were fresh or they just re-made the bed. Third, the required QR codes / hotel menu were not in our room, so I had to call down for them. The kids menu is at least $20 a meal, and the dessert chosen wasn’t available. On the plus side, the restaurant staff and most of the front desk staff were lovely. The rooms and bed was comfortable. Note the restaurant is small, and you need to book. I know much of this sounds trivial, but we were only there for one night, as a special end of term treat with my daughter, so it was all a bit disappointing. Definitely not a 5 star hotel.

I booked the room one night extra as I was arriving early on the day and didn’t wanted to wait around for few hour till 2:00. When I arrived to check in they said my booking was cancelled, nothing notified me, no one tried to call beforehand, and the excuse was I didn’t arrive on the night before and I was suppose to notify them my arrival time. I was telling them the rooms were all paid for both the nights and doesn’t matter when I arrive - my booking and room should have been there and at least someone need to contact me….. I was standing there while they try to find me a room and my family getting annoyed- what was the point of paying so much more when I just wanted to avoid just that waiting around thing……

The breakfast was disappointing. The eggs were overcooked, the buffet hot dishes were stewed and dried. Meat balls instead of traditional items, not good. The fresh fruit was dried out, the selection was poor. No range of juices. Room was nice but layout was odd for the space. Balcony door access is difficult. Aircon control was difficult to regulate couldn’t turn it off. Staff were very nice.

Overall, this is one of our favourite places we’ve stayed! The room was spotless, spacious, and had a very comfortable bed. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. Our only small criticisms were that the pool and spa were quite cold, which made them less enjoyable than we had hoped. We also chose the off-site parking to save a little money, but it ended up costing the same as the valet parking. Had we known that beforehand, we would have happily opted for the valet instead. Other than those minor points, we had a fantastic stay and would happily return.

We booked this hotel for its heated pool & spa and it did not disappoint. The breakfast buffet is small but fresh and nice variety over the course of our stay. The hotel is immaculate.
