Cedar Springs Motel

We stayed here for three nights when in Caledon for a tournament. I am rating this motel pretty high because honestly it was a lot better than I was expecting for a little road-side motel. They are obviously trying to improve it. The room we were in was recently renovated and was a pleasant surprise. The mattresses were very comfortable! I will definitely stay here the next time I need to go to Caledon. That said, there are a few things that could use improvement. The bottom sheets were too small for the mattress so were not tucked under and did not hold at all. The comforters are quite old and should be replaced. The blind on the front window does provide good privacy but barely blocks any light so even the exterior lights at night shine through. They need some heavy light blocking curtains. In the bathroom there were only two small thin towels and a single face cloth provided and no hand towels. Also only a single small tube of shampoo. The shower doors aren't installed quite square so one will not hold closed properly and kept sliding open. Reversing the door orientation fixed this, but they should still be fixed. Also they are currently renovating the office so when checking in and checking out it was difficult to find the staff. Despite all this, for the price compared to other hotels in the area and the fact that it was better than I was expecting, I will not hesitate to book this place again.

Old motel undated with modern torches. Very clean and bathroom was modern. Beds were excellent and very comfortable!! Easy access to highway and lots of parking.
