Lovely hotel featuring Thomas The Tank Engine and located within the grounds of Drayton Manor Theme Park. Really friendly staff throughout and rooms well presented and ours had a lovely bath which was a bonus.

It's been great
Comfortable enough
Not overly expensive
Came the week before Christmas so Christmas activities on, which my 3 year old loved!
We're vegan and they accommodated for us at breakfast
All the staff have been super lovely.
For us/the price, so much easier than coming to Thomasland last year We'd stay here again
Do have to pay for car parking (we paid £7 for both nights) which isn't obvious.

Overall our stay was good. As with most hotels, unless their wet rooms, for disabled visitors, are newly installed, we found the grab rails are quite dirty and dusty. We have stayed in this room before where I mentioned a trip hazard in the room where there is a bulge in the carpet. Quite important when someone is disabled, sadly it’s still the same ☹️ but, you could not fault the staff, very kind and attentive.

I stay in a lot of hotels and very seldom write reviews but this place was so poor I had to. It is soulless and dire. The rooms are dated and shabby and the staff are absent and unhelpful. My shower would only generate boiling water. When I explained this to the receptionist at checkout I was treated like an imbecile who did not know how to operate the shower when in fact I did, it was just broken. Like lots of this place

Pillows far too hard to be comfortable.
Could have done with an extra hand towel as 2 people using the room and only 1 handtowel

Paid over £200 for a shortly overnight stay and we were disappointed with the standard of room and facilities. Furniture and fixtures in the room were tired and in need of refurbishment and the dressing table area top still had dust on it! At over £200 I would expect better than this. £100-£120 would have been a reasonable price. I wouldn't recommend staying here based on our experience.

It was a quick and easy check-in… I prepaid via third party and had to pay for additionally for parking that I wasn’t aware of before, even though I was attending a training event the day after.
Dining was ok. Had the bar menu and a glass of wine, was asked if I wanted to pay to my room and I said yes. I got a call later and was disturbed in my room to pay as the check-in didn’t take a card number. Breakfast was a good assortment of fruit, toast, cooked etc

Great for using the park. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Hotel is a little tired and worn, rooms could do with a spruce up. Food is not very good, looks a lot better than it tastes, but staff dealt with my issue quickly
