Hotel Indigo Manchester - Victoria Station, an IHG Hotel

Good location, very handy for AO arena. Nice hotel. Bit of a queue for check in, but it was dead on 3pm so everyone was checking in at the same time. Check out was quick and easy.

Staff and room excellent

A beautiful, new hotel but service cannot meet the number of guests it accommodates. We were unable to pre book parking and take advantage of the discount code but able to park in the same car park and pay full price. There were queues to check in, and the queues completely blocked the small lobby area and access to the bar, restaurant and lifts. The lifts were busy and we were not allowed to use the stairs to go up to our first floor room. The bottle of conditioner in the shower was empty. The dining room is small and so you are asked to book a time for breakfast, which takes the pleasure out of a relaxed morning when enjoying a night away. Hot breakfast is cooked to order and we waited an hour for it, only for it to be served cold. We were warned about the delay and staff apologised for it, but we saw other tables leaving without having eaten as they no longer had time to wait. Both coffee machines were missing ingredients so neither one could produce the drink I wanted, though I am grateful to the member of staff who went to get me that drink from the coffee shop. Such a shame as the room was lovely but we would not stay here again.

Hotel is a great place to stay if your going to an event in the AO.

Stayed the second year in a row. Great hotel. Great service. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and it is very convenient to walk to and from Victoria station. Thank you for a lovely stay! Definitely be back again next year!

We only had an overnight stay, but the staff were very friendly and helpful. We were on the 12th floor and had terrific views over the city. Very comfortable bed, lovely large shower. Nicely decorated throughout. Enjoyed the breakfast plenty of choice. Can not fault the hotel would definitely stay again.

I thought the room was amazing. Very clean lovely layout. Bathroom was good nice soap and hand lotion. Magnifying mirror good for putting in your makeup

Perfect location to food outlets and of course the arena! However, some of the staff were not welcoming and despite a simple task, you would have thought you asked them to climb a mountain! Room was fantastic. Great view and time to relax and people watch! TV didn’t connect as stated on the TV through the QR code reader. Not major but wasted! Bar was reasonable . Staff rushed off their feet and so a bit of a wait for drinks. Although a few members of staff trying to look busy! Tables were dirty and floor sticky. Breakfast, waited 50 mins from order with 2 gentle reminders to the staff on our wait time. Coffee, needed to be a bit hotter! Cozy hotel but needed to be a bit more friendlier!

Really nice luxury hotel, modern clean and well furnished. Comfortable large bed with brilliant white bedding. Air conditioning quiet and works great The only problem is staffing, service is slow due to lack of staff. The staff working are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very nice, lots of choice and full English very nice and hot m. We would definitely stay here again

Hotel was in an amazing location for all city amenities, we travelled for a concert at the Arena which was amazing. Very clean and comfortable, breakfast very good with nice restaurant and courteous staff. Will definitely stay again 😊

There was no remote for the to, they sorted it out right away. Very comfortable bed.

Stayed at this hotel for one night whilst going to a show at the AO Arena. Location excellent. Room lovely and very clean. Reception staff really friendly and helpful. Only disappointment was breakfast, booked a timeslot but service was slow and food average. Would definitely stay again

Staff were vert friendly, nice size room. Only issue was the tv would not connect to the internet so couldn’t watch BBC iPlayer

Such a shame as hotel nice but room like a fridge! Issue with air con which was not addressed having had to chase staff on several occasions. Whole stay was cold and uncomfortable. On check out receptionist acknowledged issue, confirming others had same problem, seemed concerned that the staff did not follow up and assured us that we would receive contact/email from hotel but nothing!

No remote in the room for the TV. QR code to scan to control tv with phone did not work. Eventually given a remote by a handyman passing the door. Heating system not the easiest to work out. Waited ages for full breakfast. Only 2 cooking on a very busy morning. Thick dust on the industrial light fittings over the continental breakfast area. Ugly and unhygienic

Our stay was lovely Hotel staff were helpful friendly. Very clean. Breakfast was lovely and filling.The only thing my husband left his phone charger plugged in on the side of bed nearest the door
